Tampa is trying to trade Vincent Jackson badly.

Wouldn't be shocked if a team like Cleveland tries to land him.

Looks like they are giving up on the season or they plan to use Mike Evans as their red zone threat

This is a bit of a stretch from what I know. The report was Tampa was getting calls from people wanting Jackson, not that they were shopping him around in any way. If they get something interesting I could see it happening but the report is not that they are badly trying to get rid of him.

It's more than a stretch; it's flat wrong. The team denies they're trying to trade him at all, never mind "badly."

It is not beyond a team to lie when they are shopping a player around. Believe nothing that comes out from a front office or coaching staff in regards to these types of rumors.

I loves me some Aaron Rodgers, and openly wept when my beloved 49ers selected Alex "Doll Hands" Smith instead of Aaron with the #1 overall pick in 2005. I just imagine how things might have been if we'd had Rodgers to go with Gore the past 9 years.

That said, Peyton Manning is still the best QB in the NFL. He's the best QB currently, and I believe he is the best QB all-time. When Peyton retires, I expect Aaron to inherit that "Best in the League" mantle, but until the Omaha Einstein retires, that title belongs to him.

If you're talking regular season... sure. I buy it.

But if you're talking postseason, Rodgers is a markedly more efficient quarterback than Manning.

The postseason carries more weight with me.

Yeah because teams are soooooooooooooo honest when trading a player. You are so naive

Exactly.  Nice Saban denied he was taking the Alabama job as well. Guess what, he lied! Teams and coaches lie all the time when it comes to trades and personnel moves. It's how they do business and keep things secret.

Peyton is an all time great. ..Top 5 QB ever. You could even talk me into him being the greatest today ahead of Rodgers.  Can't have him #1 all time though.  He has had too many playoff disasters.

Bills are destroying the Jets.   Looks like losing two RBs didn't hurt that bad. At least for this week
