Title: Shame of the game - at Broncos Post by: dolphins4life on November 23, 2014, 08:33:01 pm We're only allowed to pick one person, right?
If that's the case, I can't pick anybody. Title: Re: Shame of the game - at Broncos Post by: Tenshot13 on November 23, 2014, 08:44:53 pm Jimmy Wilson. Way too many stupid penalties.
Title: Re: Shame of the game - at Broncos Post by: dolphins4life on November 23, 2014, 08:47:16 pm the main problem was no pressure on Manning.
Title: Re: Shame of the game - at Broncos Post by: MikeO on November 23, 2014, 08:54:00 pm Jimmy Wilson
He was the Broncos best offensive player in the first half Title: Re: Shame of the game - at Broncos Post by: EDGECRUSHER on November 23, 2014, 09:03:03 pm If I can't pick the entire defense, then Jimmy Wilson.
Title: Re: Shame of the game - at Broncos Post by: dolphins4life on November 23, 2014, 09:06:00 pm I'll have to go back and see when they called that first timeout in the second half.
Title: Re: Shame of the game - at Broncos Post by: Spider-Dan on November 23, 2014, 09:30:12 pm A pick of Kevin Coyle counts as "the entire defense" (and vice versa).
My pick is Jimmy Wilson. Title: Re: Shame of the game - at Broncos Post by: Run Ricky Run on November 23, 2014, 09:34:25 pm Who was the headbutter. My votes for him.
Title: Re: Shame of the game - at Broncos Post by: dolphins4life on November 23, 2014, 09:48:46 pm Can't blame Coyle, IMO. You can make the best plans in the world, but if your players can't execute, it won't matter
Title: Re: Shame of the game - at Broncos Post by: DZA on November 24, 2014, 12:53:04 am Phillip Wheeler continues to Piss me off. He cant tackle worth a Shit
Title: Re: Shame of the game - at Broncos Post by: Dolphster on November 24, 2014, 08:31:25 am Jimmy Wilson. I rarely get mad watching football anymore. But yesterday I just wanted to kick Jimmy Wilson in the nads right through the tv. Its one thing to such that bad. But it is another thing to have sucked that bad for this many years. How this guy continues to be gainfully employed as a DB in the NFL truly baffles me.
Title: Re: Shame of the game - at Broncos Post by: Brian Fein on November 24, 2014, 10:05:28 am I had Jimmy Wilson pegged at halftime. The guy can't get his head in the game.
I thought about giving it to Coyle, for general defensive suckitude. I thought about giving it to whoever came up with the crap gimmick onside kick attempt. That was horrible. You're not going to fool anyone in this league, just go line up and kick it and try your best. But in the end, I give my SHAME OF THE GAME to Cameron Wake. Yes, you heard me right. A Pro-Bowl DE, the heart of this defense, and his name was completely absent from the broadcast outside of the player introductions. The key to winning this game was putting Manning on his ass, and Wake barely penetrated the pocket one time. He is held to a higher standard and I expect more, TBH. Title: Re: Shame of the game - at Broncos Post by: masterfins on November 24, 2014, 10:56:31 am Cameron Wake
He was barely mentioned the whole game, and when he was they were talking about him being on the sidelines. Title: Re: Shame of the game - at Broncos Post by: Phishfan on November 24, 2014, 11:07:51 am No pressure on Manning all day. I have to agree and put the blame on our pass rushing specialist. Wake gets the nod.
Title: Re: Shame of the game - at Broncos Post by: Dolphster on November 24, 2014, 12:11:35 pm I have to stick with Jimmy Wilson but you guys made a good point about Cameron Wake being missing all day yesterday. So I will nominate him for my Milk Carton Award. ;D
Title: Re: Shame of the game - at Broncos Post by: Brian Fein on November 24, 2014, 12:49:23 pm I put up a poll. Informal count I see 7 votes for Wilson, 3 votes for Wake, 1 vote for Wheeler.
Title: Re: Shame of the game - at Broncos Post by: fyo on November 24, 2014, 05:23:21 pm Wake... although it really was a case of the entire pass rush, not just him.
Title: Re: Shame of the game - at Broncos Post by: dolphins4life on November 24, 2014, 08:07:43 pm I chose Philbin. I explained why in another thread
Title: Re: Shame of the game - at Broncos Post by: Dave Gray on November 25, 2014, 11:32:42 am Jimmy Wilson. Sucks that these injuries are putting us in a position to play guys that are out of their depth, but it is what it is.
Title: Re: Shame of the game - at Broncos Post by: Brian Fein on November 25, 2014, 02:03:52 pm ^^ I think JImmy Wilson is your nickel corner anyway, and the Dolphins spent most of the day with 5 DB's, so Wilson was on the field regardless of injuries.
