Title: Shame of the game - Ravens
Post by: dolphins4life on December 07, 2014, 04:10:30 pm
The refs for working against Miami.  I wonder how long this is going to continue.

Philbin for not learning and having no guts

Hard to decide between Coyle and Dallas Thomas.

I'll give mine to Dallas Thomas. He just sucks out loud.

It's frustrating that we didn't put more effort into shoring up the O-line in the off-season but I'm a broken record. Dallas Thomas is not an NFL lineman but it isn't his fault we don't have anyone  better.

Pouncey had two killer penalties so I'm going to pick him. Both of them were huge penalties.

Both penalties were bogus, even the announcers said so.

For god's sake, you sound like the Seahawks fans. Refs did not cost us this game. The Dolphins have a bunch of issues and injuries. Stop with the broken record of bad refs.

was listening to Dolphins' announcers on radio and they didn't say that. Saw 4th quarter on tv and while I have no idea of they were bogus or not ,I do know I would trust Cefalo way before those announcers.  They said the NFL has made it a priority to stop lineman going up field.

Seahawks fans?  Sorry don't follow

Anyway, it's not a broken record.  (That expression doesn't even make any sense anyway.  Who came up with it?)   It's reality

They were bad calls. The first one Pouncey wasn't even the furthest guy. It was James. He was only 3 yards and it was replayed and pointed out as a bad call on both counts. The second was Pouncey but he wasn't even that far. It was also replayed and pointed out

We signed the best LT available and he was awesome until he recently got hurt. We drafted James as RT and he was very good, but he moved to RT. Pouncey got hurt for 6 games and we improvised.

I think Hickey did as best of a job as was possible in only one offseason with so many glaring holes.

Oh yeah, Dallas Thomas for Shame of the Game. I don't know who his backup is, but if he has a pulse, put him in there or the final meaningless games.

I want to go with Thomas, because he sucks.  But we know he sucks.

I feel like this was about momentum.  We were beating the drum early and Brandon Gibson dropped a pass in his hands to get a first down in FG range (3 for sure points, 7 if we continue driving).

The chance to go up three scores was huge.  Instead, it turned momentum and we never recovered or did anything for the rest of the game.  Outside of that, he had 1 play for 7 yards.

Brandon Gibson is the team's #5 WR at this point.  He only got like 2 targets and his drop was a big one.

But any vote for anyone other than Dallas Thomas in this game is just an attempt to highlight another weakness.  RJ Stanford was abysmal in coverage and got a lucky pick in the end zone.

Dallas Thomas is miserable, and gets the Shame of the Game.

Dallas Thomas for SOTG with a whole cast of characters in the running for Dishonorable Mention.

Like CF says, though -- it's clear the guy is no good.  He sucks every time he's on the field.  (I don't know who said this before, but it's one of my favorite quotes from this site, ever.) So, at some point you don't blame the turd for stinking -- you blame the person that made me smell it.

And how bad is Jason Fox and Billy Turner they can't can't beat this guy out! Seriously.

And Nate Garner with his headaches for like a month now. I have seen enough Nate Garner in my lifetime. Every time you need him he is hurt, has a headache, or a reason why he can't play

Kevin Coyle. The 97 yard drive his defense allowed before the half completely changed this game.

That has to be a Sunstroke quote.

Just because we know he sucks doesn't mean he's not eligible for recognition of sucking.  To me, his suckitude, no matter how expected, is what cost Miami the game.  Thus, the choice is simple.
