Tannehill and Miller.

Seconded. Both were amazing, with a slight edge going to Miller since that 50 yard TD "pass" was a screen pass that Miller just housed.

I'm going Landry. I said it before and I'll say it again, I wouldn't trade him for anyone in the league. He has a heart as big as a house.

Tannehill for the fact he set a record.

I'm going to do something I hardly do. To be fair to someone I was really hard on the first few games, Suh get the nod as well. The guy showed some really talent yesterday.

But that is precisely why everyone was upset with him. Not that he wasn't performing at all but that he was pushing the envelope the way he normally does.

My game ball goes to Miller. That was one hell of a 1st half!!

Landry. Tossup between him and Miller, though.

I'd still like Tannehill to have greater situational awareness (know when the other team makes an obvious encroachment penalty and take a shot downfield). And why did he (or the offensive coordinator) stop with the early-release plays? That was working brilliantly. Prevent New England from getting too much tape on it?

I didn't see tbe game, but tanny got afc offensive player of the week... so he gets my vote, being it is hard to win that without doing something right.

Best stat from the Houston game.

Miami had 5 Touchdowns before Houston had 5 total yards of offense

I didn't think this deserved its own thread but it is an exciting play to watch so game ball seems like a good place for a shout out.

Watch Billy Turner pancake JJ Watt on this play.

That is definitely an impressive statistic...

As the leader of the "Billy Turner Fan Club," I've had to keep a low profile lately as he's definitely not developed as quickly as I thought/hoped/prayed he would. That said, I still think that the talent I saw display in college at his tiny school is the type that can be honed by a good coaching staff into a quality NFL O-lineman. Hopefully we will see more growth from Turner as the season goes along.
