Not that he can't make anyone look good but Gronk is definitely a comfortable target for him. I wonder being a tight end if Campbell will have more insight and input into taking him out of the game?

Problem with covering gronk is simple, he too fast for most lbs and too stong for most dbs to cover him.

Unless you have a LB with DB speed (i.e. Lavonte David) , or a DB with LB size (i.e. Reshad Jones), you aren't covering Gronk. Even with that, it's still a tall order. Even with that, it's still a tall order. The player who has had success for Miami covering him in the past the couple times he played against him was actually Dion Jordan. He had the size and speed combination where he kept up with him and held him within check. The best thing going for us is Wake and Suh on that side. If Suh can continue to get pressure look for Wake to do some covering while we blitz a Lber.

Our DBs can't cover anyone for the first 5 yards, so Brady is likely to throw for 400 yards and a handful of touchdowns.

They could probably dial those up pretty consistently for big yards. They aren't going to wait for the pass rush to happen. Title: Re: Can Dan Campbell stop Gronk? Combine that with a quick out and a quarterback who can read a single defender and the Dolphins are in trouble.
