Post by: MikeO on October 29, 2015, 11:09:38 pm
Team is dropping likes flies. Parker had to be carted to the locker-room

I saw a report that he's going to be fine

EDIT:  NM, it was an old story

doesn't appear to be serious (per the unconfirmed report) but they may want to just shut him down for the rest of the year it is being reported. With 4 other capable WR's and the teams record it actually makes sense as he keeps re-injuring this foot.

He re-injured his same bad foot last night with some tissue damage. Seems minor, but at this point heading into November it makes little sense to have him play so they are talking about shutting him down and some reports out there saying they have made that decision.

We will have to see

Wow, can't really afford to whiff on your 1st rounder, but this is not looking good. Kudos to Matthews for stepping up, but how the hell did Parker not even crack the Top 4?

I'm very disappointed that Parker has been a ghost this season, but I'm not ready to say he's a bust or anything.  I think his injury is hampering his production.  Let's hope he can get over it and eventually produce.

With 4 other capable WR's
Landry, Matthews, ???, ???

Stills had a big drop and was responsible for the 2nd interception.  I don't think Jennings even saw the field.  Parker is rapidly heading towards Yatil Green territory.

Stills made up for the drop on the very next play.  I do agree he has been disappointing as well though.

Jennings was on the field. He is also ahead of Parker on the depth chart

In the Philbin led Era I'm not surprised Parker didn't play.

Dan Campbell said to the media today that DVP's foot is fine. No word if he will be able to play next week though

This franchise is truly cursed.

Guess his foot is worse than they hinted as he isn't practicing today.

Why you can't trust coaches and what they say at press conferences. "Coach Speak" seems to be at play here again

Alex Marvez reporting Parker won't play this week

They should just shut him down at this point, get him healthy and ready for next year.

If you want the Dolphins to "shut down" every player that has an injury they might as well forfeit the rest of the season.  ::)

No, not EVERY player. Who has even mentioned that? (do you just make stuff up in your head and come out against it? seems that way) Just shut down THIS player. This ROOKIE who is coming of 2 foot surgery's in about a years time and can't seem to get 100% healthy.

Is this something that is re-occurring with Parker, this particular foot or area?  Just seems as though he can't get healthy and should be shelved to next season IMO.  It's a shame, had high hopes from spring practices and then surgery came and he hasn't shown the consistency on the field since then.   Get him healthy for next season.

He was injured in Louisville with this foot and missed half a season. Got hurt in mini-camp this year (minor) and then missed all of training camp after having another surgery. Now, he gets the same foot reinjured again.  It was the risk when Miami drafted him, and the risk has blown up in the Fins face. At this point just shut him down, he has till next August/September to get healthy and to me that is the wisest thing to do.  Not like the Fins will miss his production the rest of the year, he has had no production this year.
