This is how I work 2016 Post by: DaLittle B on February 21, 2016, 05:09:14 pm I looked up the Pomodoro method online,I like the concept,I sort of do it when I'm working on my 3d modeling. Not really a few minutes working, break, work on it for a few minutes.
I work on something for an hour, leave it for a day, come back to it.Sometimes work on it for 30 minutes, take a break (stretch,Refocus my eyes looking outside, check twitter),then come back to it for 20 -30 minutes). My job is pretty damn busy and if I don't break it down like that I can get sidetracked. By the end of the day I find I got NOTHING done. When I'm in a work phase I don't check email and try to have as few distractions as possible. It works as I'm getting more work done than ever before. Title: Re: TDMMC vers. This is how I work 2016 Post by: DaLittle B on February 24, 2016, 08:59:36 am Unfortunately,my job is too dependent on things I can't control,or other people's decisions. There are days where I get absolutely nothing accomplished, but realize the harder I push to get something accomplished, just exacerbates the situation.
I plan on trying the method outside of work,on other things. |
