Braun series 5 razor -6 months earlier I'd tried to switch to an electric razor, liked it but was using really bad cheap travel razors. I bought the Braun series 5, a year and a half ago at Walmart, they were clearing them out to bring out series 7 razors.I got it for $50....I love it,Love it,Love it...

Makita 18v lithium-ion drill, and impact driver - I can't believe I bought these almost 6 yrs ago,I use the hell out of them...

I got a couple of more, but I got to run...

I'm going to switch it up a bit and go for a small-ticket item:

These things are GODLIKE.  I can't think of a single cleaning product that makes as dramatic a difference (in both time and results) as these sponges.

^^^ Those magic erasers are awesome. I am on my second box since discovering how much easier they make cleaning everything.

(Marked on calendar, March 14th, 2016...the day that I emphatically agreed with Spidey on something.)

I really love my tongue scraper, but I've mentioned that before.  If anyone doesn't own one, they are life-changing.

I have two: I love my GPS.  Not specifically the brand or anything (Garmin), but it's very freeing to someone who sorta blows with sense of direction.  Also, I think it's safer.  It helps anticipate slowdowns in traffic, so you're not just slamming your breaks.

The other is my external hard-drive.  It holds a lot, and unlike thumb-drives, you can't really lose it in your pocket.  The larger size (it's about the size of a deck of cards) is big enough to not forget it, but small enough to not be cumbersome to bring around.

I splurged and bought a $6 shaving cream bottle one time:

I will never buy another brand .. it's game changing.

I like the Panasonic electrics. I bought my second one in 2011 and still using it, haven't even changed the blade or foil. Cleaning cartridges is the only thing that I've bought for it. In fact, I got a new one in 2013 as a gift and haven't even opened it yet. I wonder if the battery will be OK when I eventually get around to opening it, haha.

Do those things clean the built in textured foot grippy thing on the bottom of a fiberglass bathtub? That is the hardest shit to clean. I read somewhere that a mixture of vinegar, baking soda, and Dawn would eat the discoloration away but I haven't tried it yet.

What the hell is a tongue scraper for? I usually just brush my tongue for about 15-20 secs after I brush my teeth and then hark up and spit it out. Then rinse with mouthwash for 3-4 minutes. Is a tongue scraper really that much better?

^Why don't you pour a bunch of bleach in the tub and fill the rest with water?  Let it soak (throw your shower curtain in there too if you want), then rinse.

EDIT TO ADD:  Holy shit, 3-4 minutes?  I'm like 60 seconds and done.  Insert "that's what she said" joke here...

Having just spent much of the last week in Daytona I'd have to say my Harley. Definitely the coolest thing I've ever bought for me.

A tongue scraper has changed my life.  Brushing your tongue (which I used to do) is like sweeping a rug.  It just rubs the bacteria around.  A scraper is solid plastic and with each scrape, you remove a layer of thick, yellow mucous.  It's pretty gross.  Also, you can get pretty far back on your tongue without gagging yourself.

But, it makes food taste better and it makes your mouth feel way cleaner.

Alright Dave, you've convinced me.  Next time I'm at CVS, I'm picking one up.

Not sure how into bike culture you are, but we went to Sturgis last year for the bike rally. I've never seen so many Harleys in my life. Mr. Buddha and his dad work on bikes, but not Harleys so it was interesting.

Something I bought that I love? My Subaru Crosstrek. LOVE IT! It's the perfect vehicle for me. Basically like a car, but with plenty of space in the back for plants and dogs, etc. Awesome gas mileage. Space up top for paddle boards or whatever. AND, with the seats down I can sleep in the back when traveling. Still small enough to zip around town.

It's everything I wanted my Outback to be. (Kind of hated my Outback.)

With my kids now in college my wife and I have gotten into riding quite a bit. She even has her own bike now. I've been to Daytona for Bike Week many times in my youth but it more fun to me now as I get a lot more out of it. We've never been to Sturgis but definitely have it on our bucket list.  Last year was Sturgis' 75 anniversary and this year was Daytona's 75th so they were both pretty huge.

I lost my choo-choo on what my other 2 were... :P :-[

Nice Bike Cf,I didn't know you were a biker!

I've got a buddy that is a H-uge Harley Davision Fan...He's got 3 or 4 bikes...He just traded a gold wing, and another older Harley for an Electroglide?...I know it's a bagger. He stopped by the other night to show it to me.(It made his wife much happier,it's more comfortable for her to ride with him).He still has 2 others in his garage,he's fixing up.

He keeps getting me into,I joke No Thank you...I don't anything else that's liable to leave me on the side of the road!  :D

I've been looking at bikes, but I'm going to start with a little Honda if I decide to do it.

Thanks B. Yes.. I used to ride quite a bit when I was younger but my wife would never let me get one. She finally gave in during 2014 and we've been having a blast. I talked her into getting her license and then during the second day of class she told me "I'm getting my own bike!" ... LOL. Now it's hard to get her to ride with me any longer. We did a ride a couple of weeks ago with over 600 bikes. It was crazy as we took over the roads with a huge police escort. They even shut down the interstate for us.

I've been looking at bikes, but I'm going to start with a little Honda if I decide to do it.
That is what my wife started with too and I'm glad she did. She's actually turned into a pretty good rider but it has really helped her with having a smaller and lighter bike as she has become comfortable with riding. She has a 750 Honda Shadow Aero. It looks and operates similar to a Harley Deluxe and that is what she hopes to get one day. The Honda Shadow is much cheaper and lighter to learn on.

This is her bike. It's a 2007 and looks brand new.

Back in '06 I bought the car I've always wanted, a Corvette. Loved that thing. I have since sold it and got a house a little afterwards. So, I guess right now it would be the house.

CF, that is pretty much what Mr. Buddha recommends. He is into all the foreign bikes as well as dirt bikes. He has a GSXR here(and a dog named after it) and some dirt bike or something, but doesn't think I'll ever enjoy that. I'm more of a cruiser girl. Apparently Harley's aren't that great for women due to their size. (Keep in mind that I'm barely 5'1".)  He wants to start me with a Honda Rebel only because they're SO cheap. If I don't like riding it's not a big deal.
