I respect a man to choose to not take the beating of the game, just odd timing IM0
.
I am glad we have Ajayi,Drake, and Willaims

I'm guessing the Dolphins gave him the option to retire, or they were cutting him; since Ajayi and Williams have been doing well.  Not to mention he dropped that pass yesterday that would have kept the drive going.

I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up signing on with another team.

Someone tweeted he got another soft tissue injury, and didn't think he wanted to go through rehab.

I was a bit confused about the signing when it happened. Foster's career is over.

He was re-injured in the Bills game and he doesn't want to rush through a rehab to get back on the field.

It had nothing to do with his play or the depth chart or being cut

This is total speculation on my part as only Foster knows his true reasoning.  But I wonder if the the fact that a large chunk of his contract is incentive laden and Ajayi's recent performances making it clear that Foster was not going to sniff much of the field, combined to make it an "Aw, screw it" situation for him. I'm not going to hate on the guy regardless of his reasoning.  He had a solid career even if he didn't do much in Miami.  I wasn't crazy about his role in the kneeling during the anthem stuff, but that is irrelevant to his career as a solid RB.  I wish him a comfortable and pain free retirement.

I feel like I'm over these flyer signing. :P

It feels like a ton of these coming off injury plagued season(s) signings bite the Dolphins in the arse.I get we're taking a chance they return to being good, the problem is they're band aids for a season. if they do work out 1 year,we fail to upgrade, and they bite us in the arse down the road.

I would be!!  if you retire with time left on your contract your only option is that team.

Folks he was injured in Sunday's game vs Buffalo. His season and career is over. He isn't coming back.

It was a 1 year deal at no money, literally no harm no foul
