Title: Game Ball - @ Niners Post by: Spider-Dan on October 11, 2020, 07:08:51 pm There are many valid choices for this honor. The team played extremely well in nearly every aspect of the game.
But my Game Ball goes to Fitzmagic. He played a practically perfect game. Honorable Mention to Emmanuel Ogbah (1 sack, 1 FF) and Jason Sanders (5/5 FG, 4/4 XP). Title: Re: Game Ball - @ Niners Post by: dolphins4life on October 11, 2020, 07:09:45 pm Fitzmagic
Williams Flores Sanders Title: Re: Game Ball - @ Niners Post by: EDGECRUSHER on October 11, 2020, 07:25:28 pm Fitzmagic, we should tell him every week that Tua is going to replace him.

Title: Re: Game Ball - @ Niners Post by: Dave Gray on October 13, 2020, 10:46:44 am I think I'll go with Flores. I've been very hard on him, but this win was just so complete that I really can't find fault (and thus, it's hard to pinpoint one standout) when the team really brought it in all facets.
Title: Re: Game Ball - @ Niners Post by: fyo on October 13, 2020, 11:53:35 am I'll go with Flores as well. Yeah, Fitz had a magical game, but you've gotta feel just a little bit for the 49ers missing their top 3 cornerbacks. He was also helped by an offensive line that didn't seem to miss a step, despite being without the starting LT. (How will that work once Tua gets in, btw? He's a leftie, so RT becomes more important...)
Title: Re: Game Ball - @ Niners Post by: Dave Gray on October 13, 2020, 12:18:48 pm ^ It's not even that Fitz played well, BUT...
Fitz just played well. However, there are so many that did and it's such a turn around from some of the earlier weeks. Defensively, ...everything. And we had the lead the whole time, too. We didn't just fizzle out. |
