The offense has moved the ball well but failed to capitalize thus far.   A 50 yard bomb to Mike Giseki gave the Dolphins first and goal on the 5 and they only managed a FG.  Then with Gaskin slicing away, they drive to the 15, then Tua throws a pick in the end zone. 

Dolphins hold the Bears to a three and out, aided by two false start penalties.   Jakeem Grant sets them up at the Bears 35 with a beautiful return.  The Dolphins have pulled Tua in favor of Brisett.  The offense proceeds to move only 18 yards on 8 plays and settles for another FG.   If this continues into the regular season, this team is going to be crushed. 

Jacoby Brissett looks like he's 45 years old.  Great pickup Miami!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fock me.  Drops back the 1st 3 times and runs out of the pocket all 3 times.

Seriously, I watched a few games last year with IND when he got in the game, but he looks like he can't move in the pocket and he's only 28!  Wow.

The defense has not allowed a first down thus far.   Noah Igbinoghene has played solid coverage and broken up two passes thus far. 

Love hearing Goldie, KimBo, and JT calling the game.   But if this offense continues the way it is, the defense will not hold up.

You know who's standing around alot? LT Jackson, he's as worthless as teets on a  boar hog

And finally the offense punches it in!!  Brissett actually looked like an NFL QB on that drive!!!

Hey its preseason, 🤷🏾‍♂️ Not much to guage. But the impatient casual fans and media are going to have a field day ripping apart TUA  for that INT

And also ripping apart the team's performance in the second half

A preseason game gives about as much insight into what to expect in the regular season as an early August practice workout does. 

^^^^ THIS, though I will say you'd like to see your OL play a little better than what I saw.  Tua and WRs had a nice rapport and the RBs did what they could with the Bears blowing up that line Expected a lot better showing than what I saw from Jackson and Deiter

My takeaways:

Same O-line bullshit, with holding penalties.
Tua looked good.  As soon as I said that out loud, he threw a pick in the endzone.
I'm already tired of preseason and ready for this to be real.

I agree with you. Tua's int doesn't bother me because in a real game he could have atoned for it as QBs often do. The play calling was suspect but then again ... they are definitely trying to work on the running game and this is the time to do it.
In the end it was a preseason game where starters didn't play. Hopefully that isn't the theme for the season becuase it looks like we lack depth.

Yeah, I got the feeling they were focusing on running the ball as well. Just got the pads on a couple weeks ago, it's time to see what it looks like with the pads on. The WR's and QB's have had plenty of time to practice with the pads off, hard to really do any of that with lineman and the running game. Defenses are always ahead of offenses at this stage of pre-season.
