The Bucs secondary, which isn't that good to begin with, is banged up but the Dolphins have below average quarterback play and a horrendous offensive line so that pretty much negates that. It's gonna be a long afternoon.

Tampa Bay 43 Miami 20 I graciously give Miami 20 because I think they will get a TD in garbage time. Otherwise they only score 13. This is basically the annual pre-season game with the Bucs, for the Dolphins anyway. See if they can get any good O-line combinations that work, play Brissett the first half, then bring in Reid Sinnett for the 2nd half and see what he can do. I liked the way Sinnett played in the preseason game I watched him in, yes I know it was preseason, but he was still being pressured and made some good moves. He was with the Bucs last year, so maybe he knows a little about how their defense plays. Close call there, although the Dolphins were in it until the 4th quarter. The key was giving up a first down on third and ten immediately after the touchdown drive. You force Tom Brady into a quick three and out, the defense has to come right back on the field and they would be gassed at that point. |
