Title: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: pondwater on October 31, 2021, 01:05:24 pm Halloween game live from the slaughterhouse, how fitting LMFAO....
Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: pondwater on October 31, 2021, 01:15:34 pm Stupid ass play call twice in a row then miss a field goal. Sanders must be drinking before the games these days or something lol
Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: DenverFinFan on October 31, 2021, 01:21:17 pm Sanders sure did fall off quick
Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: pondwater on October 31, 2021, 01:26:34 pm In the past we played for those fist pumps and FGs, now we can't even count on those. SMDH, the Bills can hit a 57 yard FG and we can't make a 36 yard FG. It's truly amazing the depths we continue to sink to.
Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: pondwater on October 31, 2021, 01:30:05 pm Why they keep using Ahmed? And a 3rd and 13 pass for 5 yards??? These motherfuckers are retarded. Our drives are extended by penalties more than our play.
Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: bsmooth on October 31, 2021, 01:32:22 pm Why do the coaches use anyone over Gaskin.
Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: Dolfanalyst on October 31, 2021, 01:37:05 pm Same problem as usual with this team. An inability to score.
Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: hordman on October 31, 2021, 01:39:57 pm What in the actual fock is Hunt doing there? Seriosusly, complete whiffs on Ed Oliver and lets come right at the QB.
Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: EDGECRUSHER on October 31, 2021, 01:42:17 pm Why do the coaches use anyone over Gaskin. I don't know but it has to be personal at this point. Certainly no statistical argument for it. Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: pondwater on October 31, 2021, 01:46:12 pm I don't know but it has to be personal at this point. Certainly no statistical argument for it. And that's the problem with Flores. He's more concerned with his ego than he is with winning. It's not impossible, but in my experience those type people don't ever change. Gase was the same wayTitle: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: EDGECRUSHER on October 31, 2021, 01:48:07 pm Sanders sure did fall off quick That's what happens with FG kickers, like 90% of them are crap after 3 years. Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: EDGECRUSHER on October 31, 2021, 01:50:10 pm CAR YDS AVG TD LONG
Myles Gaskin 6 25 4.2 0 7 Salvon Ahmed 4 7 1.8 0 5 Gaskin also has a 22 yard reception. It has to be a grudge by Flores at this point, the kid is a good player and isn't being used enough. At the very least, he was to get 80% of the carries when they do run, he has earned it. Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: pondwater on October 31, 2021, 01:52:00 pm Sanders made one, now he can go take another tequila shot 🥃🥃🤣🤣
Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: pondwater on October 31, 2021, 02:02:35 pm Parker gonna have a good game today and then we won't see him again until week 12.
Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: Dolfanalyst on October 31, 2021, 02:24:14 pm The field goal they would've made there wouldn't have meant anything anyway. You aren't beating this team with field goals.
Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: pondwater on October 31, 2021, 02:24:25 pm i'm tired of this fucking nonsense circus. Fire Flores and Grier immediately...
Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: Dolfanalyst on October 31, 2021, 02:25:59 pm 4.4 yards per play in the first half. You aren't beating anyone with that kind of offensive performance. If the Buffalo offense wasn't having an off game this would be a blowout already.
Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: pondwater on October 31, 2021, 02:27:09 pm The field goal they would've made there wouldn't have meant anything anyway. You aren't beating this team with field goals. For me, that's not the point. Yeah, we more than likely still lose the game. But these silly ass MFs can't even score points that are gifted to them. Hell, I've seen high school teams execute better.Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: pondwater on October 31, 2021, 02:33:58 pm Another issue I see is that on the run option, Tua never keeps it like Tannehill used to. The whole field could be open for Tua and he's gonna give it to Ahmed for a 1 yard gain. And where's the fucking ameoba defense? If something is working why would you stop using it? Either this team doesn't want to win or someone that makes decisions is stupid.
Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: Dolfanalyst on October 31, 2021, 02:58:38 pm Here's where the Bills wake up and the blowout begins.
Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: pondwater on October 31, 2021, 03:02:03 pm Here's where the Bills wake up and the blowout begins. Because we stopped doing what was working. We were sending a fair amount of pressure. And now all of a sudden we can't tackleTitle: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: Dolfanalyst on October 31, 2021, 03:06:36 pm Because we stopped doing what was working. We were sending a fair amount of pressure. And now all of a sudden we can't tackle They don't belong in the same stadium with this team. This was just a matter of time. Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: bsmooth on October 31, 2021, 03:08:27 pm I am surprised it stayed that close for that long.
Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: Dolfanalyst on October 31, 2021, 03:14:04 pm 3.9 yards per play now.
Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: pondwater on October 31, 2021, 03:15:19 pm I am surprised it stayed that close for that long. Just looking at the score, one would think that it's anyone's game. Not with this coaching staff. The score should be a 9-10. They have to fire someone, this is ridiculous. Have we even had a long pass for a TD this year? I'm sure all the other teams have by this point in the season.Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: Dolfanalyst on October 31, 2021, 03:22:38 pm Just looking at the score, one would think that it's anyone's game. I'm sure all the other teams have by this point in the season. They still don't have a quarterback or a receiving corps, the two most important parts of any team in today's game. Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: hordman on October 31, 2021, 03:29:45 pm I see X-Man with more "shadow coverage" this afternoon and giving up the easy inside slant TD. Dude is so gone next year
Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: pondwater on October 31, 2021, 03:29:59 pm Howard got beat again, hahaha. So much for his reworked contract. He got what he wanted, the actual outcome of the games don't even matter to him.
Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: Dolfanalyst on October 31, 2021, 03:30:20 pm I see X-Man with more "shadow coverage" this afternoon and giving up the easy inside slant TD. Dude is so gone next year He might be gone tomorrow or the next day. Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: Dolfanalyst on October 31, 2021, 03:31:54 pm Here's where the whole world knows the Dolphins have to pass, the opposing defense pins its ears back and rushes the QB, and the Dolphins' offensive line is at a disadvantage and its performance plummets.
Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: EDGECRUSHER on October 31, 2021, 03:38:52 pm 17-10 now. This game seems destined to have us lose on the last play again due to defensive failure.
EDIT: Sorry, 17-11. We went for 2 and converted. Why did we go for 2? Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: pondwater on October 31, 2021, 03:40:51 pm Holy shit, we scored a TD? Well god damn, even if we lose I count it a win LMAO
Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: Dolfanalyst on October 31, 2021, 03:42:38 pm Going to need a turnover at some point to have a chance here.
Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: pondwater on October 31, 2021, 03:49:08 pm Howard holding again, hahaha
Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: pondwater on October 31, 2021, 04:00:16 pm Those 2 FG we could have had biting us in the ass right now.
Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: hordman on October 31, 2021, 04:00:31 pm Thanks Sanders. Now a 2-score game
Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: Dolfanalyst on October 31, 2021, 04:04:37 pm The Grier/Flores rebuild is officially over and a failure. When you're in year three of it, you're 1-7, you have no QB, and you can't compete at all with your key division rival, you're done.
Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: Dolfanalyst on October 31, 2021, 04:08:04 pm Tua is constantly hitching his throw and only partially resetting his feet and getting no lower body into the throw. Most of his INTs are of that nature.
Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: pondwater on October 31, 2021, 04:08:52 pm I don't even understand anymore. It's like I'm watching the fucking 3 stooges. Nuk nuk nuk, soitenly

Nuk nuk nuk, soitenly How much of this is because of a lack of coaching? Lack of development? Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: EDGECRUSHER on October 31, 2021, 04:13:08 pm How much of this is because of a lack of coaching? Lack of development? Almost all of it, young players can't play without good coaching in the NFL. It's the worst sport since it's the most team oriented. We had it last year then somehow everything got worse ad it started from the top. I really think the constant shuffling of players in the offseason hurt this team's chemistry and trust in Flores/Grier beyond repair. Lions got stomped again today but we are truly in danger of giving the Eagles a Top 3 pick now. If Grier/Flores aren't fired tomorrow, then we are definitely riding this out until the offseason and once your season is officially over, players give up. As of now, 1-16 is the most likely outcome. Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: Dolfanalyst on October 31, 2021, 04:14:11 pm How much of this is because of a lack of coaching? Lack of development? From our vantage point someone would have to be some kind of clairvoyant to know the mechanism(s) of action here. Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: pondwater on October 31, 2021, 04:17:42 pm How much of this is because of a lack of coaching? Lack of development? This is all on coaching. We have decent players. Seems like bad decisions are being made in preparation and during the game. Flores is just a black Adam Gase. They both aren't half as good as they think they are and their egos won't allow them to actually fix the issues. Looking back at the Minkah Fitzpatrick situation should have raised more red flags. In hindsight, it's kind of clear right now.Title: Re: Live Blog@Buffalo Post by: Dolfanalyst on October 31, 2021, 04:24:04 pm This is all on coaching. We have decent players. There have been lots of high draft picks made by this regime, and none to date has resulted in an exceptionally good player. There are no difference-makers on the field from the draft picks and free agent acquisitions during the Grier/Flores era. You can't win with no difference-makers. There was seemingly nothing wrong with that last year, however, when the team went 10-6. The difference was that they overcame talent deficiencies with defensive takeaways and good QB play when Fitzpatrick was on the field. This year the QB play is pedestrian and the takeaway rate is vastly different. They don't have the talent to overcome that. Last year we didn't have 2-3 OCs flipping coins to see who gets to pick the stupidest play. We also released a few of our defensive key people. And the biggest issue is the coaching staff have forgotten that there is an OL that needs attention. Not playing Gaskin, not halftime making adjustments, not continuing to do the things that workAt this point, I don't think Tua is a main area of concern. Too many other things that need fixing that could have changed the outcome of half our games. OL play, stupid penalties, confusion coming out of the huddle multiple times. Regardless of what the issues are, at this point everything falls on Grier and Flores. You are writing off a rookie QB, with less than a full season under his belt over two seasons, on a team with a lot of issues. No final judgment on Tua at this point, but the QB play this year is significantly worse than it was with Fitzpatrick last year, and that's one of the main causes of this team's issues. Whether the QB and/or some other factor(s) is at fault for his play is unknown in my opinion. |
