Title: Dolphins Sign Left Guard Connor Williams 2 Years/$14 Million Post by: EDGECRUSHER on March 15, 2022, 12:23:09 pm $7.5 Million guaranteed.
Only 24 years old, he was graded as the 10th best pass blocking guard in the NFL last year. He seems to have an issue with holding penalties but that can be coached more. Rather a holding call than a guy coming unchecked to break Tua's ribs again. This is a good upgrade for our line but we need a new RT or LT, no questions asked. Austin going to the bench now. When he got back, he got that issue cleaned up. Sometimes all it takes is to change your blocking technique.

From what I saw online, the whole O-Line had an issue with holding penalties and most people attributed that to Dak scrambling and prolonging lots of plays. I really don't think it is that big of an issue, but any time a 45 yard TD is called back due to a hold, you remember it vividly. |
