Things like this really piss me off. I don't think it's a party problem but it is a freaking security problem. Maybe it's the movies and tv shows that make me think better but this kind of crap should never be happening to us. If they could do this then  God only knows what else is comprimised.

It's things like this and Russia's failure to conquer Ukraine that makes me think all the governments are really just keystone cops. I'm not rooting for Russia by any means but pretty much everyone thought Ukraine would fall in days. As it is now they may actually win this thing. Who knows if we are capable to do what we did 20 years ago with spies infiltrating everything.

Reading the article, it's hard to tell what actually happened.  It appears that they had convinced some security agents that they were themselves also security agents and were giving them gifts, right? 

I don't really see what the infiltration is, though -- it's like, they tried to gain access, had all this stuff to do so, but then got busted trying?

It is troubling that foreign agents got this close to the president. 

It equally seems very odd that Biden did not replace James Murray as chief of secret service when taking office. 

Did they, though?

It seems like they started to get close to people who are sometimes close (or had been close) to Biden and Harris, but ultimately that it didn't work.
