In general, I think we should put our efforts into reducing use, rather than drilling more.  Oil has better uses than being burned up.  But you can't do it all at once, so I'm not an expert enough to know if this is a good idea or not.

News flash:. I don't like Biden.  Guy is to the right of every democratic president going back an entire century.  He has more in common with Liz Cheney than AOC. He got my vote because the other option was a Putin-wannabe.

This, I was having a chat with my next door neighbor before the election. I'm pretty far to the left, and he wore a maga hat until the whole injecting bleach thing. We both were talking about how disappointing Biden would be as president. He was afraid that the democrats would murder biden in his sleep and we'd have president Kamala (his words) and my disappointment was that Biden would govern to the right and at best pay lip service to any progressive economic priority. (which is what ended up happening)

I always knew Biden wasn't gonna be the liberal monster that the right claimed.  I never bought that for a second.

In general, I'm more pleased with him than I thought I'd be about a lot of things.  My frustrations are more with the Democrats, in general, as a party.

Dave, you're wrong.  Biden has absolutely been every bit the "liberal monster" conservatives feared.  Maybe not on policy, but policy was never the point.  As CF explained when asked about his objection to Obama's term:

Any person who supported Trump has no standing to criticize any other politician.  Your guy is the most immoral, the most corrupt, the most pathetic.  He lost to Sleepy Joe and then tried to overthrow the government.
