Vaccines are supposed to prevent serious illness from the virus, not contraction or transmission

He got 4 shots and still got it. I don't think you need to be an "anti-vaxxer" to know they don't prevent transmission.

Vaccines should be completely voluntary.   And I mean all vaccines.   I've heard a wild one about some people who have had the COVID vaccines are now testing HIV positive.

Other than lessen the word hate I think most people would agree with you.

In addition to everything else, money matters, power matters.  He's going to get the best care in the world, immediately.

That certainly could happen.  The Covid vaccine does nothing to prevent HIV transmission.  I know someone who got the covid vaccine and the next day got found out she was pregnant.  I am pretty sure having sex was what caused the pregnancy, not the vaccine. 

Not only would you need to be an anti-vaxer but you would also need to redefine the word prevent. 

Prevent means to reduce the probability of something happening not make it impossible.

For example:

Condoms prevent the transmission of STDs.

Helmets prevent brain injuries.

Warm clothing prevents hypothermia.

Drinking water will prevent heat stroke.

Seat belts and air bags prevent auto fatalities. 

Wearing sunscreen prevents sun cancer.

etc, etc, etc.

The vaccine does three things:

1. It prevents you from getting it.  Not 100%, but you are much less likely to contract it if you are vaccinated.

2. It prevents serious outcome.  Once again not 100%, but you are less likely to die or wind up in ICU if you do contract it.

3. It prevents you from spreading it.  Once again not 100% but because you get less sick, you are less likely to give it someone else.  (Smaller viral load)

Some of those people were not sexually active.

Are you saying that these people received HIV through contaminated needles that were then used to inject the COVID vaccine (and not, say, from IV recreational dug use)?
Or are you saying that the COVID vaccine itself literally gave them HIV?

The vaccine itself.   No medical facility would use contaminated needles and if they did, they would get their pants sued off.

To clarify:

When considering the possibility that the needles could have been contaminated, you reject that as too unlikely.  Instead, you think it is more likely that... someone caught a completely unrelated virus from the COVID vaccine.

What's next... "The COVID vaccine made me pregnant"?
Maybe "The COVID vaccine caused me to test positive for cocaine"?

That is insufficient.  If you make a claim, it's your responsibility on a message board to provide the source, not to tell someone to look on social media.
