Title: Live Blog - Bengals
Post by: dolphins4life on September 29, 2022, 08:20:21 pm
Starting this from work.

A win would be HUGE for Miami tonight.

A loss isn't the worst thing in the world

So far, the experts have been completely right about everything they said

That drop in the end zone is a killer.

Tua definitely missed on that one.  Throwing earlier or farther and that can be complete

Going into the half down one score would be a huge win for this first half

Just gotta hang in.  Defense not making the big play outside of the 4th down stop, penalties, and a missed opportunity at qb and some drops

Jesus.  I hope he’s ok.

That's a crusher.

Ironic, if Bridgewater had NOT completed that pass, it would have been better for Miami

Kicking game woes today are costing them

To whatever extent the season was "over" at halftime of the Ravens game, it's really over now.
Teddy Bridgewater is a decent backup, but this screams Ray Lucas/Jacoby Brissett all over again.

Super disappointed and demoralized, not just for this year, but for Tua as a player and a person.  I feel like this is going to be it for him.

First, I hope he is ok and can play again.

Second. This team is cursed and this one might just be the worst of all. God damn.

Forget football. Just scared for Tua. What happened to Howard on that TD?

The defense has to win this game.

Hopefully Howard is just playing hurt.
He has gotten exposed pretty badly over the last few weeks and is becoming a liability.  Byron Jones can't get back fast enough.

You can see how much QB play drops off with plays like that…..open guys that complete but waste their momentum.  I am having trouble watching this.

These idiot announcers talking about Bridgewater's ARM STRENGTH!!!!!! is sickening.  Tyreek still had to slow down!

edit: it's Kirk Herbstreit, what can you expect.  Go back to analyzing exploited kids, clown.

Did not like the play calling at the goal line.

The strength of this team is the pass

That stop could prove huge later on.

Holy shit, if I thought X was a "liability," when he's on the sidelines the secondary looks like a joke.

Bengals receivers just running free.  Needham is lucky not to be getting flagged every time they throw near him.

They may have gotten away with one on that one

This is a season defining game for Miami

I can't even watch this.  It's too infuriating.

Disappointing and worrying. Rough night and I HATE TNF

At this point all I can hope for is that Tua will be able to safely play again.
Much like Alex Smith, it's something you want to see for the player if nothing else.

I think Skylar Thompson could lead this team; just have to "hope" Bridgewater gets knocked out of a game so he can be given the chance.  I hope Tua's not hurt too bad, but he really is just injury prone.

I don't really like the use of "injury prone" to apply to concussions.
You can play through injuries.
