Title: A political riddle
Post by: dolphins4life on February 08, 2023, 06:35:43 pm
What's the difference between Trump and Biden?

Trump shot down a horrible terrorist in this world.  Biden shot down a stupid hot air balloon.

Qasem Solemani

He never even make the top 10 most wanted terrorist.  It is good he is dead but Ayman al-Zawahiri was way more significant.

Maybe you should have said that Biden shot down a stupid hot air balloon and Trump is just a stupid balloon full of hot air. Now THAT would have been funny. LOL

But it wouldn't have been true.

I mean, maybe you are rich, but Biden is destroying working middle class Americans like myself.

Trump made this country great.  That's the facts.

Nah man. My wages have increased faster under Old Joe since any Prez I’ve worked under going back to Dubya.

Joe Biden’s economy is dope even with inflation I’d never pictured myself making what I do under this dude. I make 10 more dollars an hour than I did under Mafioso Trump

Yes, but he also raised the prices of everything and crashed everybody's 401ks.

401ks are a scam anyway. I’ll be dead or sick before I can enjoy it. What’s the point? We as males average 73 years ( and that’s decreasing ) so we work until our mid 60s, for what?

Stuff like the price of eggs really bugs me.

Bird flu killed about 6% of egg laying chickens nationwide, in a response to this egg prices increased over 200%

This isn't government pushing prices higher. This is capitalism seeing an excuse and trying to maximize profits.

Unfettered crony capitalism is what is driving up prices. Facts are facts.
We live in an oligarchy, not a democracy.

I've got egg laying chickens. Us and thousands of other "back yard" chicken owners' hens (from Facebook groups) have quit laying eggs this year when it hasn't happened in the past. Everyone in our area that we spoke to as well.  It was really weird. We changed their feed and it has helped almost immediately just as it did for others. They stopped laying for over a month but I think it took 3 days after the feed change to get eggs going again. this just coin incidentally happens when bird flu mysteriously hits and eggs are at their highest? Something is going on and it isn't just a coincidence.

Something is going on and it isn't just a coincidence ... and it isn't some damn wild reaching conspiracy theory because I've seen it first hand.

Purina and DuMor are the largest manufacturers of feed and are owned by Land of Lakes. Who owns Land of Lakes but the largest egg producers in the world. Seems a bit too easy doesn't it.

"The egg shortage has enabled record quarterly profits and sales at Cal-Maine Foods (CALM), the largest producer and distributor of eggs in the United States. The company produces brands such as Farmhouse Eggs, Sunups, Sunny Meadow, Egg-Land’s Best and Land O’ Lakes eggs" - CNN

I'm sure that, if the GOP could just get their hands on Hunter Biden's laptop, the answer to this and a great many mysteries would see the light of day...

Are your chickens old?

My brother has chickens and they don't lay like they used to, but he said that they're all old and aging out of laying.

No ... these are two years old. Not only from our experience but like I said ... it' everyone around us, all of our friends on Facebook, and the chicken groups my wife is a part of which is all around the country.

I said 2 months but my wife said they quit laying in October. We were getting like one egg every few days for 3 months. We only have 7 chickens and a rooster but typically get 4-5 a day. Typically shorter daylight can affect them for a few weeks or so but there are things to bypass that like adding artificial light to them. That didn't work this year. It wasn't until everyone changed feed and upped the "protein" that we started seeing results.

Do you have a hypothesis of what it might be?

No clue really but the feed has changed even though Purina is saying it hasn't. It also seems pretty odd when the owner of the largest egg distrubutors owns the feed companies of their "competiton".

Here is an article I found, pretty much tackling exactly this topic:

I've seen several articles lke this and I call BS. It's just propaganda.

“Backyard flock producers don’t necessarily follow lighting programs to support peak egg production,” Anderson said. “A lot of backyard flock people utilize natural daylight.”Almost everyone that I know do. It really isn't that difficult or expensive to add a light to the roost.

“We confirm there have not been formulation changes to Purina poultry feed products,” Brooke Dillon, a spokesperson for Land O’Lakes, the parent company of Purina Animal Nutrition, wrote in an email. Similarly, Mary Winn Pilkington, a spokesperson for Tractor Supply, said that its suppliers confirmed there has been “no change to the nutritional profile” of their feed products.

That's kind of like asking OJ if he killed his wife and accepting his answer as the truth. The only thing we changed was the food and it immediately changed their laying as it did with dozens of others we know. Thats how we knew to change feeds. This isn't social media talking. Like I said it is my actual experience and the experince of several others that we know personally.

It's possible that two things can be true.

It's unlikely IMO that Purina changed the feed and are lying about it.  It would be too hard to cover up and for what?

But it's possible that something about the feed outside of Purina's formula could be affecting the laying.

^^^ I don't disagree. I just know something has changed and it revolves around the feed. I also think it's really looks bad when the people making the most money ever on their egg producers own their competitions feed and it somehow went bad.
