Title: Great Tua Stat Post by: EDGECRUSHER on September 24, 2023, 05:18:37 pm Tua is now 10-0 against Superbowl winning coaches. He is the first player ever to win 10 in a row against them and obviously the first to do it in his first 10 games. 5 of them against Belichick.
Title: Re: Great Tua Stat Post by: Spider-Dan on September 24, 2023, 11:35:13 pm This isn't accurate. Tua lost to Andy Reid and the then-reigning SB Champion Chiefs in 2020.
The actual stat is that Tua has won 10 in a row. But he's not 10-0. Title: Re: Great Tua Stat Post by: Dave Gray on September 25, 2023, 10:11:23 am I like these few stats from yesterday:
Tua had more TD passes than incompletions. Tua threw as many right handed (his non-dominant hand) TD passes yesterday as Zach Wilson has thrown with his dominant hand all season. Title: Re: Great Tua Stat Post by: Fau Teixeira on September 25, 2023, 10:29:18 am Through 3 games this year. Tua is:
3-0 72/101 cpl/att 8/2 td/int exactly the same as last year's 1st 3 games Title: Re: Great Tua Stat Post by: Dave Gray on September 25, 2023, 02:14:53 pm ^ This year's fluke start mirrors last year's fluke start.
Title: Re: Great Tua Stat Post by: Brian Fein on September 25, 2023, 04:28:05 pm Last year, Week 4 on the road, our QB gets rag-tossed on his skull by a defender (and no roughing the passer call) and goes to the hospital for brain-damage.
Let's hope the similarities to last season end right where they are. Title: Re: Great Tua Stat Post by: EDGECRUSHER on September 25, 2023, 07:06:02 pm This isn't accurate. Tua lost to Andy Reid and the then-reigning SB Champion Chiefs in 2020. The actual stat is that Tua has won 10 in a row. But he's not 10-0. I saw that he was 10-0 on a network tweet like CBS or NBC. So, I blame them. BTW, Tyreek Hill had two TD's in that game. |
