I think its funny to smack talk rivals but I'm sure many fans are going to get upset with her.

Josh Allen's fiancée Hailee Steinfeld is as good throwing barbs at the Miami Dolphins as Allen is at throwing touchdowns against their defense. She was asked to name the four teams in the AFC Eastern Division.

Her answer was "The Buffalo Bills and the Bills' Three Sons."

She has every right to do that until someone in the division knocks the Bills off their perch.   

Could have also answered "The Buffalo Bills and three teams with Lombardi trophies."

The idea that the Bills have accomplished something of value by winning some division titles and being an AFC Championship Game Participant is pretty laughable.

At this point in my life ... it's really hard for me to stand on something I wasn't really a part of and neither were most Dolphins fans. I was a sophmore in high school when Dan took us to the Super Bowl and we got our arses handed to us.  The last 25 years are just memories of being dominated by the Bills, then Pats, and now the Bills again.

For two of those team those Lombardis were won before she and everyone playing in the NFL was born.

Right now the Bills are the top of the AFCE. And what she said was class A smack talk.

It would be one thing if these were NE fans ten years ago talking trash with multiple recent Lombardis in the trophy case.

But the Josh Allen Bills haven't done anything!  Their only accomplishment is a bunch of "AFC East Division Champion" banners!
What are you bragging about, exactly?

This is like the Andy Dalton Bengals or Andrew Luck Colts puffing out their chests.

It's important to note that the interviewer was trying to ask her a gotcha question, hoping she wouldn't know the names of the three teams, which is a pretty low class thing to do.  That said the Bills have been the best team in the AFCE since Brady departed the Patriots.  The Bills have beat the Dolphins 10 out of the last 11 times they faced each other, so she's not wrong when it comes to the Dolphins.

There is only one way to combat trash talk and that is to punch them in the mouth, figuratively not literally, and the rest of the division isn't doing that. It just sounds like sour grapes to bring up ancient championships.

Even if you ignore titles, the recent Bills haven't done anything.
They are slightly less pathetic than the rest of the division.  Yay?

Still sounds like crying to me Spider. If she was talking trash to the rest of the NFL I would let your reasoning stand. As it is,  they are dominant in the division and that is where the trash is focused. Take it on the chin until Miami has something to brag about.

Exactly.  Shula has been gone for 30 years now.  This team has won two divisional titles since Shula left.  TWO.   They've had a total of nine playoff appearances in those 30 years.  NINE.

Let that sink in.

If you want to say Miami has to take it on the chin then whatever, but she didn't just call out Miami.  She called out three teams, including one which has 3 titles in the last decade.

I'll accept trash talking from a team like NE, who actually won something.
But from the Bills?  They're chokers and losers, too.

The Patriots have losing records four of the last five years which runs along with the Bills five AFCE titles. How many Patriots are on the roster from even their most recent Super Bowl? It's ancient history in the world of sports.

When NE was good, they were actually good, so trash talk at that time was warranted.
The Josh Allen Bills are frauds who also have not won anything.  Their fans bragging about division titles is no less pathetic than this:

Now, were the Dolphins an "AFC Finalist" any time in the last 30 years?  No.
But I can still laugh at the Colts for being proud of that pitiful banner.

Classic big fish in a tiny pond thinking. Have the Bills won anything lately of real note to brag about? (like a Superbowl or AFC championship title)

A nothing story like this wouldn't even get oxygen if we weren't in the post-Superbowl lull at the start of the offseason. It doesn't deserve any more of it now.

You and I can somewhat agree here. I wouldn't say anything about them having a division winner banner but putting one up celebrating a conference loss is pathetic.

Her fan trash talking is way more justified than the trash talk posted on this forum in 2008 based on one division win in a decade.  She is fan.  This wasn't something that came from Bills PR department so the analogy to the Colts is way off point.   

I would say that the ultimate goal of every team in the NFL is to win the Superbowl. If you're not the Superbowl champion, you're just like every other team sitting at home choking your chicken watching the game. Sure, the Bills are currently one of the better teams. And being one of the better teams hasn't translated into results for the Bills achieving the ultimate goal of the NFL. Like Ricky Bobby said, "if you're not first, you're last." This year, everyone except the Eagles was last. If your team has never won the big game, then you probably shouldn't be talking shit.

More the point, us as Dolphins supporters should really just be ignoring it.

She's got what she wanted in attention and clicks - it never really deserved any in the first place.

She was supporting her fiancée, I respect her for that.  I've been a fan of hers since she was in the Coen Bros. remake of True Grit and will continue to be.

I don't have a problem with her supporting her fiance or being a delusional Bills fan.
I have more of a problem with Dolphins fans who boost her statement so they can say, "She's so right, look at how sorry MIA is and how amazing BUF is" when the Bills are also a bunch of pathetic frauds.
