Title: Miami Dolphins are finally adding a veteran cornerback
Post by: CF DolFan on August 26, 2025, 09:59:26 am
Nothing like waiting til the last minute.

The team is signing former Buffalo Bills cornerback Rasul Douglas to a one-year, $3 million deal, according to multiple reports. Miami has had an interest in Douglas since it dealt Jalen Ramsey to the Steelers.

Douglas made 15 starts for the Bills last season, recording 43 total tackles, five passes defended, and one forced fumble. He’s definitely one of the better options available, and he won’t turn 30 until Aug. 29.

If Kohou doesn't get hurt, I doubt they make this move. Maybe they still would have, but I'm actually not THAT concerned about the CB's on the team. It's not like Miami had a shutdown corner last year or if they did that it helped them that much. With the rules now if you don't get to the QB, they are going to complete 50% of their passes no matter what you do. The best you can hope for is to hold them to short gains.
