Title: Tyreek Hill Post by: Pappy13 on September 30, 2025, 02:22:54 pm I Saw a few posts on Reddit that Hill's injury might be a blessing in disguise which I call BS on. This is definitely not a good thing for the Dolphins, however it might be something that Hill will at least learn from. I really feel like Hill had his first taste of adversity last year and he didn't handle it well at least not initially. I thought he was coming around and learning a bit from that experience and now this happens. He's about to find out what real adversity is all about. Some people get stronger through adversity and some don't. Here's to hoping that Hill is one of those that will come back a better player than he was before the injury. I like him despite his many flaws.

Injury time + some amount of time to get it back + age + all the other stuff. It might be the end of him. I hope the best for him and his family and his health at this point, not even from a football perspective, but that injury looked nasty as hell. Title: Re: Tyreek Hill Post by: Phishfan on September 30, 2025, 08:19:56 pm He isn't a good route runner. Going fast is his one trick. I don't expect much of a comeback from this.

Yeah, I wasn't insinuating that he might still help the Dolphins, I also think they will move on from him now, but someone is going to take a chance on him if not next year, then the year after that and I hope he takes advantage of that chance. Like I said I like him, I hope he does make it back from this injury, but I do think his time with the Dolphins is done.Title: Re: Tyreek Hill Post by: Spider-Dan on September 30, 2025, 10:17:16 pm He isn't a good route runner. Going fast is his one trick. This simply isn't true. There have been plenty of fast receivers in the NFL; Tyreek's 40 time isn't even in the top 20 all-time.You cannot be an All-Pro receiver just by being really fast. There are years and years of Al Davis drafts that prove this. There's no need to kick Hill when he's down by downplaying his skillset as a receiver. Title: Re: Tyreek Hill Post by: Pappy13 on October 01, 2025, 11:39:37 am I just read that Tyreek's surgery went well and he won't need any more surgeries and that they think he might be ready by the start of the season next year. Wow, I didn't expect that. Maybe there is still a possibility of him playing for Miami next year.
Title: Re: Tyreek Hill Post by: Fau Teixeira on October 01, 2025, 02:04:37 pm because of his contract, he was getting cut next year anyways

Wow, I didn't expect that. Maybe there is still a possibility of him playing for Miami next year. No way they pay that much money to a guy who might never be what he once was. The only way he's in a Dolphins uniform next year is if he takes a pay cut. And given his antics, he deserves nothing less. Title: Re: Tyreek Hill Post by: masterfins on October 02, 2025, 06:22:01 pm I think, hope, his time with the Dolphins is done. Miami just can't afford to keep an expensive older player, coming back from an injury. I have mixed feelings about Tyreek. On one hand when he wanted to give it 110% he was making spectacular catches, and more importantly generated a lot of after catch yardage. But when he wasn't the focus his effort level seemed to fall off a cliff. I'll wish him the best as long as he doesn't go to an AFC East team.

Players have come back from devastating injuries to be very effective before even if he's not the #1 WR he's been in the past. A lot of it has to do with how the rehabilitation process goes and I don't think Tyreek has had to go through that before, so we don't really know how he'll take to it. I'm taking a wait and see approach to Hill before I completely write him off. At worst maybe the Dolphins can use him as a trade piece yet. He certainly might make a nice #2 WR if not a #1 and Hill might be willing to restructure his contract to make it more palatable to a team. It's a long shot I'll admit, but not completely without merit.Title: Re: Tyreek Hill Post by: Sibster on October 03, 2025, 10:57:27 am This is hilarious!!
