Life has happened, and I really don't care anymore. So, no more political rhetoric from me here, or anywhere else. We're all friends, right? I don't care who anyone votes for anymore.

I've been through the ringer, and I've lived the good life and bad. I split from my wife, GOT custody of my daughter that I had with her, and I'm currently homeless....Long story. BUT, I am a truck driver now, so I have a bed to sleep in, AC, microwave, and fridge.  But, its short lived. I'll be back in the saddle soon enough, and I will regain custody of my daughter, who is now 15 years old.  I had to sign temporary custody over while I sort things out.

I've become a podcaster. From 2013-2016, I had an internet radio show called The Will and Thunder Show, which was comedy and interviews with heavy metal artists. Starting in 2022, I started a true crime podcast called Crimes Killers Cults and Beer, and I'm still doing it, although its in hiatus right now because I can't record in my truck...But, it will be back.

I HAD a home recording studio for music and podcasting, but all that stuff is in storage right now. But SOON!

Life comes at you hard sometimes, and you just deal with it. In fact, I'm back happily with the first woman I married. (another long story. lol)

Still, I've done and been through ALOT since the last time I posted here. But, now I feel like I fit because I am officially on the Dolphins Reboot bandwagon. lol The last game I went to was a preseason game in Tampa vs the Bucs. 2019, I think. 

Anyway, how the hell have you all been?

It's really good to hear from you.

Things aren't the same around here.  There's way less politics now.  There's still some, but Trump is just so exhausting that I can't keep up.  I miss the days where I could argue about policy.

I am just living life, still married -- my girls are 11 and 14 and I'm just trying to make it work.

Well, I won't be in them. lol Honestly, my life is much less stressful since I did away with politics.  ;D

If I had to label myself anything these days, it would be a centrist. There are things that I agree with the left on, as well as things on the right. But these days, the center is likely where you'll find the answer. The far end of the 2 parties seem to have taken over, and they are both full of shit, trying to outdo each other. And, Trump is definitely exhausting. I am happy not caring anymore.

I know you say you're not here to talk about politics, but "both sides are bad" is the same bullshit as it always was.  There is no far left in this country.  The left are what Republicans used to be.  The right are fascist authoritarians.  There are like 2 or 3 progressive politicians, but they have no hold on the party.  In fact, Bernie isn't even technically a Democrat.

The Republican party has broken this country.  They have destroyed checks and balances in Congress and the Supreme Court and giving all of the power to the executive, who is a mad king.  Here we are: a kleptocracy where corruption is normalized with armies in the streets.  We are all getting properly fucked economically already, but it's going to continue to get worse and we probably won't have a legitimate vote to fix it.

I agree about Republicans, which is part of the reason I tapped out. I can't stand what Trump is doing, but I don't see a Republican being elected in 2028. I'd even bet that the Democrats take back at least one of the houses of Congress. I just got sick of trying to figure out which politicians were legit, and which weren't. That's all I meant by both sides are bad. But, I am now onboard with several left wing policies. (Brace yourself! lol)

My 29 year old daughter is a trans male. So, I've also become ok with that.

So, yes. I've changed alot. I just don't follow it anymore, and I'm not into arguing about it anymore. I'm not going to change anyone's mind because of my opinion. The changes in my beliefs came because I observed things, and learned.
