Title: Shame of the Game - Bills #2 Post by: masterfins on November 09, 2025, 04:44:00 pm Dolphins Fans for not showing up to the Stadium. I understand the fact many fans are pi$$ed so they don't go, but there were sooo many empty seats; and the majority of the crowd that was there were Bills fans. It was a great opportunity for fans that can't normally afford to go to a game to pick up some very cheap tickets through the GametTime App.

No SOG award from me this week, but I will have to point out that I'm also getting sick of Tua throwing stupid INTs. They weren't costly, but they were dumb throws. I don't buy that they were the equivalents of punting the ball - we have a guy for that, known as the Punter, and there's no risk of Tua getting hit in the head or making a costly INT that does hurt us when he does the job. Their southern vacation was ruined! hahahaTitle: Re: Shame of the Game - Bills #2 Post by: Fau Teixeira on November 10, 2025, 09:26:12 am I don't think either interception from Tua mattered in any way. They were both thrown on 3rd and long and both pinned the bills deep in their side of the field. Alot of good things could have happened, There could have been a PI call, if they connected we would have scored that drive. If they didn't we would have punted on 4th down and the 2 INTs had the same exact result as a throwaway and a punt.

Achane was open across the middle on one of them. To me you heave it on a last second desperate attempt. Otherwise you are basically giving up on even tryng to get a first down. Title: Re: Shame of the Game - Bills #2 Post by: Spider-Dan on November 10, 2025, 02:00:06 pm McDaniel directly said (https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/mike-mcdaniel-was-pumped-that-both-of-tua-tagovailoas-interceptions-were-arm-punts) he encouraged Tua to take shots on third-and-long that serve as arm punts:
“I was actually really pumped. I told Tua on some third down calls to let it rip down the field and operate it as an opportunity ball to act as a punt,” McDaniel said. There's a fair argument that Waddle is not a good 50/50 receiver and probably not the best target for those throws (throws that would normally go to Tyreek). Waddle also fell down on the second one, so... Title: Re: Shame of the Game - Bills #2 Post by: dolphins4life on November 16, 2025, 09:52:09 am The whole team.
This is tongue in cheek of course. Why couldn't we trade getting swept this year for a 2020 or 2021 split? This team cannot figure out when is the best time to win and lose |
