Defense and Riley Patterson.

An ugly win but a win is a win. 4-7

Achane.   He's one of the guys you want to keep around during the rebuild.

From the NFL highlights package:

Achane.

HM to Patterson.

Achane

HM's - Gordon II had some nice runs, Jack Jones with the big interception in OT, and Jordyn Brooks continues to make a lot of tackles on defense.

Jordyn Brooks had 20 tackles yesterday. Dude comes to play every week and is leading the league in tackles by almost 20. He is by far the most consistant player we have right now.

Just for giggles I looked up Zach Thomas and the most he had in a season was 165. Brooks is at 125 right now with 6 games to go. Unless he gets hurt, he will blow that out way before the 16th game.

He's having one heck of a good season, and getting noticed more since getting the AFC Defensive Player of the Week against the Falcons.

After Achane, he's next on my list for team MVP, and the current defensive player I would pick to rebuild that side of the team around.

I'll say DC Anthony Weaver.  The defense has been absolutely putrid most of the year, so I gotta give the man his flowers when his unit shows up to play.

This is only the second or third game in the McDaniel era that was won by the defense (as opposed to the offense being forced to simply outscore every opponent).

:D :D :D :D  That's quite a spin. lol  "The offense being "forced" to outscore their opponents." That is so funny.  And here I thought it was the job of the offense to score points.

How would you phrase "The defense can't stop anyone, so the offense has to score virtually every time they get the ball or the Dolphins lose"?
I call that being forced to simply outscore the opponent.
