Only "easy" games are the Jets and the Raiders. Everyone else is better than the Dolphins. Of course you never know what teams will lose players, who will get drafted, who may be injured in preseason, etc. etc.
Title: Re: 2026 opponents Post by: Spider-Dan on January 04, 2026, 11:17:38 pm At this same time last offseason, NE and CAR were expected to be two of the easier opponents on the schedule, while WSH and TB were expected to be two of the tougher ones. And a year before that, many people saw late December matchups vs. SF and at CLE as scheduled losses against two playoff teams with elite defenses.
Just because a team was good this year, that doesn't mean they will be good next year. And just because a team was trash this year, that doesn't mean they will also be terrible next year. The NFL is an extremely volatile league (outside of ~5 teams). Title: Re: 2026 opponents Post by: Denver2 on January 05, 2026, 11:34:21 am Yay I might actually be able to go to a game!
Title: Re: 2026 opponents Post by: MyGodWearsAHoodie on May 14, 2026, 07:01:42 pm What we know so far:
1 Sept. 13 at Las Vegas Raiders (source) 4:25 p.m. 2 Sept. 20 at San Francisco 49ers (source) 4:25 p.m. 5 Oct. 11 vs. Cincinnati Bengals 1 p.m. 7 Oct. 25 at New York Jets (source) 1 p.m. I wonder if the plan is for the team to stay out west between weeks 1 & 2 Title: Re: 2026 opponents Post by: MyGodWearsAHoodie on May 14, 2026, 08:22:10 pm Miami Dolphins 2026 Schedule Week 1 Miami Dolphins at Las Vegas Raiders Sunday, September 13, 4:25 p.m. Eastern Week 2 Miami Dolphins at San Francisco 49ers Sunday, September 20, 4:25 p.m. Eastern Week 3 Miami Dolphins vs. Kansas City Chiefs Sunday, September 27, 1:00 p.m. Eastern Week 4 Miami Dolphins at Minnesota Vikings Sunday, October 4, 4:05 p.m. Eastern Week 5 Miami Dolphins vs. Cincinnati Bengals Sunday, October 11, 1:00 p.m. Eastern Week 6 BYE WEEK Week 7 Miami Dolphins at New York Jets Sunday, October 25, 1:00 p.m. Eastern Week 8 Miami Dolphins vs. New England Patriots Sunday, November 1, 4:25 p.m. Eastern Week 9 Miami Dolphins vs. Detroit Lions Sunday, November 8, 1:00 p.m. Eastern Week 10 Miami Dolphins at Indianapolis Colts Sunday, November 15, 1:00 p.m. Eastern Week 11 Miami Dolphins at Buffalo Bills Sunday, November 22, 1:00 p.m. Eastern Week 12 Miami Dolphins vs. New York Jets Sunday, November 29, 1:00 p.m. Eastern Week 13 Miami Dolphins at Denver Broncos Sunday, December 6, 4:05 p.m. Eastern Week 14 Miami Dolphins vs. Chicago Bears Sunday, December 13, 1:00 p.m. Eastern Week 15 Miami Dolphins at Green Bay Packers Sunday, December 20, 1:00 p.m. Eastern Week 16 Miami Dolphins vs. Los Angeles Chargers Sunday, December 27, 1:00 p.m. Eastern Week 17 Miami Dolphins vs. Buffalo Bills Sunday, January 3, 1:00 p.m. Eastern Week 18 Miami Dolphins at New England Patriots TBD Title: Re: 2026 opponents Post by: masterfins on May 15, 2026, 01:52:23 pm No international games, no Thursday games, no holiday games, no prime time games; I guess that tells you how the NFL thinks the Dolphins will fair this season (unfortunately I agree with them). They do have a touch of the old scheduling (at least as I remember it) with the Jets road game being the end of October and the Bills road game being the end of November.

With how liberal the flexing rules have become, the number of prime time games scheduled doesn't really mean much anymore. This is the first time I can remember any team not having a single Thursday game.If only MIA had a schedule like this in 2023! Title: Re: 2026 opponents Post by: MyGodWearsAHoodie on May 16, 2026, 03:16:55 pm This is the first time I can remember any team not having a single Thursday game. That happens every year. Last year Brown, Jags, Colts, titans, saints and panthers all avoided Thursday. Title: Re: 2026 opponents Post by: Sibster on May 17, 2026, 02:59:12 pm They need to get rid of Thursday night football. It does nothing but create injury risks for players, especially the team that has to travel.
Thursday night football should be reserved for opening week and Thanksgiving week. And the teams that play on Thanksgiving should take their bye week the week before. And they were all projected to suck, just like Miami this year. Title: Re: 2026 opponents Post by: masterfins on May 17, 2026, 05:50:58 pm They need to get rid of Thursday night football. Never going to happen, the Billionaires make too much money off of it; more likely to start adding regular Friday Night Games.
