It's a much tougher schedule in 2026, at least on paper. Only "easy" games are the Jets and the Raiders.  Everyone else is better than the Dolphins.  Of course you never know what teams will lose players, who will get drafted, who may be injured in preseason, etc. etc.

At this same time last offseason, NE and CAR were expected to be two of the easier opponents on the schedule, while WSH and TB were expected to be two of the tougher ones.  And a year before that, many people saw late December matchups vs. SF and at CLE as scheduled losses against two playoff teams with elite defenses.

Just because a team was good this year, that doesn't mean they will be good next year.  And just because a team was trash this year, that doesn't mean they will also be terrible next year.  The NFL is an extremely volatile league (outside of ~5 teams).

What we know so far:

1   Sept. 13   at Las Vegas Raiders (source)   4:25 p.m.
2   Sept. 20   at San Francisco 49ers (source)   4:25 p.m.

5   Oct. 11   vs. Cincinnati Bengals   1 p.m.

7   Oct. 25    at New York Jets (source)   1 p.m.

I wonder if the plan is for the team to stay out west between weeks 1 & 2

No international games, no Thursday games, no holiday games, no prime time games; I guess that tells you how the NFL thinks the Dolphins will fair this season (unfortunately I agree with them).  They do have a touch of the old scheduling (at least as I remember it) with the Jets road game being the end of October and the Bills road game being the end of November.

With how liberal the flexing rules have become, the number of prime time games scheduled doesn't really mean much anymore.

This is the first time I can remember any team not having a single Thursday game.

If only MIA had a schedule like this in 2023!

That happens every year.  Last year Brown, Jags, Colts, titans, saints and panthers all avoided Thursday.

They need to get rid of Thursday night football.   It does nothing but create injury risks for players, especially the team that has to travel.

Thursday night football should be reserved for opening week and Thanksgiving week.  And the teams that play on Thanksgiving should take their bye week the week before.

And they were all projected to suck, just like Miami this year.

Never going to happen, the Billionaires make too much money off of it; more likely to start adding regular Friday Night Games.
