Title: Movie Review: Crash Post by: Househead on January 16, 2006, 08:26:17 am Finally saw this movie this weekend after several people had recommended it.
Premises: Interweaving stories of several characters from all walks of society (rich, poor, white, black, latino, etc) and the effect that racism has on them (either by being racist (and/or prejudice) or being subject to racism). Rating: Awesome. I really enjoyed the cause & effect, vicious circle message that was being conveyed. That people are often not racist for the blind purpose of being racist but that certain events in ones life impact and shape ones view of stereotypes and influence ones decision on how to treat others, which in turn has consequences to those that are affected by such decisions and subsequently shape their course of action towards others. Damn you sound like Roger Ebert baby! Nice review Title: Re: Movie Review: Crash Post by: Buddhagirl on January 16, 2006, 11:07:56 am Awesome movie.
I really enjoyed the cast and everything. I can't think of a single flaw with this movie. |
