Title: Worst Superbowl Post by: raptorsfan29 on January 22, 2006, 12:52:17 pm What do you guys think was the worst superbowl that you watched in your life.
oh yeah almost forgot to say. My pic just until my screen name to the left of this pic rocks. Anyone know what is it. Title: Re: Worst Superbowl Post by: Thundergod on January 22, 2006, 01:34:25 pm In terms of interest:
Baltimore vs N.Y.Giants Tampa Bay vs. Oakland Denver vs. Atlanta (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v693/lordthundergod/damn.gif) Title: Re: Worst Superbowl Post by: gocowboys31 on January 22, 2006, 01:41:42 pm The forty whiners and san diego. 17PT favorites were the whines, and the chargers offered no resistance.
Title: Re: Worst Superbowl Post by: TEKGOD on January 22, 2006, 03:41:41 pm Quote The forty whiners and san diego. 17PT favorites were the whines, and the chargers offered no resistance. I agree. Completely unwatchable. I remember Deion Sanders lining up as WR at the end of that one. The 49ers were toying with them in the 4th quarter. Title: Re: Worst Superbowl Post by: Predatory_Fins on January 22, 2006, 03:45:41 pm the Ravens Giants wasn't good, but the halftime show at that one was even worse!!!!
I must also give honorable mention the the pats panthers game, since I'm a carolina native, and I've always liked the panthers, add that to my hatred of the patsies, and thats pretty self explanitory. Title: Re: Worst Superbowl Post by: JVides on January 22, 2006, 03:52:09 pm Quote The forty whiners and san diego. 17PT favorites were the whines, and the chargers offered no resistance Asleep in my couch by the second quarter. Horrible, awful game. It gets my vote. Title: Re: Worst Superbowl Post by: YoFuggedaboutit on January 22, 2006, 08:40:58 pm Gotta give it to the Ravens-Giants in 2000. They set two notorious records that night:
1. Most punts in a Super Bowl 2. Most points scored in least amount of time. Title: Re: Worst Superbowl Post by: crazy_scar_man on January 22, 2006, 08:43:17 pm Quote 2. Most points scored in least amount of time. Â huh? Title: Re: Worst Superbowl Post by: YoFuggedaboutit on January 22, 2006, 08:48:20 pm Quote huh? There was a punt returned for a TD by the Giants, then the ensuing kickoff was returned for a TD by the Ravens. The Giants got the ball back, and two plays later, the Ravens picked it off and ran it back for another TD. Three touchdowns in less than 1 1/2 minutes. Super Bowl record. Title: Re: Worst Superbowl Post by: Frimp on January 22, 2006, 11:11:02 pm Its a toss up between the Ravens/Giants and the 49ers/Chargers.
Title: Re: Worst Superbowl Post by: jtex316 on January 23, 2006, 06:22:56 am I'm a Giants fan, so I can't say it was the worst because I was into it.
I think Denver / ATL was pretty bad. The Patriots / Panthers 1st half was atrocious. Title: Re: Worst Superbowl Post by: JVides on January 23, 2006, 06:42:56 am Quote Its a toss up between the Ravens/Giants and the 49ers/Chargers See, I give it to 49ers Chargers because there was no excitement after the first, what...15 minutes?  At least the Giants-Ravens game had that 1 1/2 minutes during which 3 touchdowns were scored.  Punt return-kickoff return-interception return.  Pretty cool. Why would that be bad though? That is excitement which people want in a Super Bowl. My choice goes to The 52-10 drubbing of the Bills by the Cowboys. I hated the Cowboys back then. I watched that game and the majority of it was boring. I couldn't take my eyes off the screen...that is, when the conga line passed through the living room, of course. ;D Title: Re: Worst Superbowl Post by: JVides on January 23, 2006, 02:06:11 pm Quote I think you guys are crazy. I thought you might say that...well, the conga part was somewhat unexpected, but still... ;D Title: Re: Worst Superbowl Post by: bsfins on January 23, 2006, 02:16:47 pm Watching the 49ers carve up the Miami Dolphins Defense....( I was reminded that even though,at the time I may not have paid much attention,I did watch this game.I was at a Family Superbowl party,I remember the party, not much of the game.)

I was trying to figure out a respectful way of saying that the Miami-SF super bowl was the worst...not because of the outcome, but because I was hoping for a shutout. :o Title: Re: Worst Superbowl Post by: Dave Gray on January 23, 2006, 03:04:28 pm I was pretty sick of the Cowboys...so any of those....when they thumped the Bills or Pitt.

We drew names and had to drink every time they said the name of the player you drew. I drew Natrone Means. Steve Young's six TD tosses took Natrone Means (business) out of that game faster than you could say "wha-happened?", but you still probably got hammered before that one was done. ;) Title: Re: Worst Superbowl Post by: Phishfan on January 23, 2006, 03:28:53 pm He didn't have to get the ball, only have his name mentioned. It wasn't a pretty night.

It was my first year at college, I was 19, and I had just left the FSU football team to concentrate more on classes and decided to join a fraternity. I ended up at the house of one of my frat brothers for a Super Bowl party, and ended up getting smashed on a drink he called Pink Pleasure. Turns out it was nothing more than pink lemonade Kool Aid, complete with Vitamins A, B, C, D, and V.
