Holy jesus!
In case Frimp wasn't kidding,  DUDE,   Iceland nailed the hell out of Armenia 50 - 0!?   What's nuts is,  look at the amount of saves Iceland's goalie had vs. Armenia's!!!   Only 10 shots on goal!?   Armenia's goalie had 133 shots on his ass,  the man can't do it all.  LOL.  What,  Armenia had 15 yr. olds playing?  Is this real dude?   :o :o

Actually I love it. I have so much fun with those kids out there. Most parents are pretty open to my style. I don't care how good or bad your kid is......everyone logs equal game time. Everyone gets a chance to bat in every slot in the lineup at least once during the season. Everyone plays every position (except pitcher, and catcher) unless the request not to play somewhere. Most parent seem to enjoy that because it is a fair atmosphere for all of the kids. Only a few have had a problem with it and have pitched a fit (those who thought their kid was the next Derek Jeter). My response to them.....if you don't like it coach your own team next season. I want my son (who isn't great) and others who aren't so good to still love the game and not get stuck on the bench every game like I see so many other teams do. It keeps them interested in the sport. It is a real sense of accomplishment to watch the kids grow through the season and to see a kid get his first hit or catch his first ball when you have been working with them for so long!!!! I suggest trying it out and seeing what you think. I got sucked in accidentally and I love every minute of it. Also as a weekend dad this give me more opportunity to spend with my son and it is a great bond that we have. He loves having me out there. Give it a try.  :)

As embarrassing as it is to admit this...I was playing goalie for the Armenians that day.

My bad...  :-[
