Personally I thought runtheball was an attempt to clone run_to_win.  We should start using our real names.  Brian Fein ... what's your real name?

I think the Vegas odds have Joe at 4:1 as the next to be banned.
Brian is a close second at 5:1, with Fau slight behind at 7:1.

Or maybe, like RFK, they are the same person.  I'm sure Dave can figure that out by checking the IP Addresses that the posts came from.  That's how he was able to figure out that it was me cloning the ID's. 



Nah, I won't.  I've joined ID Cloners Anonymous and with their help and support, I did not clone run_to_win's ID, even though I was mightly tempted. 

After reading all these political threads, I'm hoping I get banned.

LOL, getting banned for READING a thread??  Dude, if you read something and don't post, how can you violate any rules?  Unless you're in a Commie country and what you're reading is illegal.

We've both had these nicknames since circa 1999 on the Miami Dolphins.com forum.  Both names were birthed during the Marino era.  It's just coincidental that we agree on both football and political philosophies.

You're not Tom Cheug from the MiamiDolphins.com forum are you? He was a notorious cloner.  People like him, Arlene Bronstein, Shaylene Jansen and J. Veselinovic are the reason that MD.com no longer has a forum.

Some previously used cloned names were Fun_to_spin and run_for_cover - please be creative in your mimicry.

Nah, I'm not him.  I would say I'd like to meet him, but that would only tempt me some more.  If I cloned your ID, I would put something like run_to_w1n or run_t0_win.  Then I would make a post of the cloned ID saying something stupid and everyone would think it was you. 

I got suspended for a week after doing it for the 5th time.  It was a decision mutually agreed upon by Dave and Jim because they had already warned me four times and I kept it up, so they had to find a way to make it sink into my head. 

Don't you think the 1 and 0 are pretty obvious?  Brian's example was less obvious.  (It's always the quiet ones who make the best master criminals.) 

Plus, what about the post count issue?  How often does someone's post count get reset back to zero?  I can see the gag, but I can't see where anyone would be fooled. 

See, I think that's the part you're missing...  No one would think it was him.  At t his point, we'd all know it was you, and you'd get banned again.

Not too many people look at the post count, until someone points it out.  It would look obvious, but then everyone would think "someone hates this guy".  Sometimes it doesn't look as obvious.  Take for example Pats2006.  I changed the zeros to O's, and it really did look like him.

By the way, that is not true.  I know the real reason why they removed the forum.  Everyone was writing a bunch of negative stuff because they (as pissed off fans) were calling for the ouster of Dave Wannstedt as coach.
