Title: Run the Ball - Run to Win the same? Post by: crazy_scar_man on February 08, 2006, 12:52:55 pm I have a suspicion that run the ball and run to win are the same person. At first I thought they might just be cronies, but the more I've read his comments, the more I think they are one in the same.
This post here: http://www.thedolphinsmakemecry.com/forums/index.php/topic,8334.msg83812.html#msg83812 Run to Win says: Having met the guy when he was here in Seattle to give a speech at some hi-tech conference at the University of Washington, I found him to be soft-spoken, mild mannered and respectful. He just doesn't take a lot of crap from message board punks.... and might have a bit of a problem with authority. This reads like he's refering to himself in the third person to me. My theory is that he used the run the ball login for over the top posts and the run to win for mildly annoying posts. However, now that run the ball is no longer active, we are seeing the two personalities blend together. I feel this may all be my fault a little. It seems I picked a bad time in the history of TDMMC to post my political thread. Title: Re: Run the Ball - Run to Win the same? Post by: BeefStewert on February 08, 2006, 01:28:13 pm I doubt it. Run_to_Win has been around a lot longer than run_the_ball.
Title: Re: Run the Ball - Run to Win the same? Post by: run_to_win on February 08, 2006, 01:30:17 pm Mods - please feel free to post the IP numbers to show everyone that I'm posting from the West coast and RTB posts from the East coast.
Now, if people want to believe that I'm smart enough to fake my IP number, I am honored. Also, as a WSU Cougar, I wouldn't be caught dead speaking at the University of Washington. Â Downtown Seattle, and the UW, just NE of downtown, are EASILY among the most liberal places on earth. Â Even going to the UW to watch Dolphins a few years back caused me great discomfort, but a Dolphin win eased my pain. Â I do have super powers that make me capable of traveling coast to coast in a matter of minutes, but in this case I did not use them. Â ;) Â Title: Re: Run the Ball - Run to Win the same? Title: Re: Run the Ball - Run to Win the same? Post by: Sunstroke on February 08, 2006, 01:41:31 pm Just curious, and I ask this more for my own information, rather than as a preface for any accusations:
From the IP address, can you really tell whether it is coming from East coast or West coast? Or just that that they come from different computers/internet providers? Post by: Brian Fein on February 08, 2006, 01:46:43 pm there are software programs that can trace IP's to a location. NeoTrace Pro is one. McAfee has one, too.
Title: Re: Run the Ball - Run to Win the same? Post by: crazy_scar_man on February 08, 2006, 01:51:34 pm He could easily be using:
megaproxy.com (http://megaproxy.com) or another such web site. No offense Run To Win... but my hunch is strong. Title: Re: Run the Ball - Run to Win the same? Post by: run_to_win on February 08, 2006, 01:52:13 pm Please don't lock it on my account. Â I'm not offended and I understand the suspicion.
RTB, being a handsome young buck with a build similar to that of runningback, may be offended though. Â I'm closer to the Fridge than any RB.... well, Craig Heyward maybe. Â He works in the hi-tech medical research industry in Washington DC, I mow lawns and talk about Washington DC. So no, I'm not offended. However, ff you really want to flatter me please start the post accusing me of being the Zonk, Larry Little or Bob Baumhower. Â :) Title: Re: Run the Ball - Run to Win the same?
