Title: Movie Review: Bullets over Broadway Post by: Dave Gray on February 13, 2006, 12:03:44 pm Premise: In the 1920s, a young Broadway writer/director has to cast a mobster's talentless girlfriend in order to get the funding to put on his show. Her bodyguard sits in on the rehersals, and then gets involved in the production...but his methods are more "direct" than most.
Rating: Okay This is a Woody Allen film, and I'm not a huge fan. It had some okay stuff and it was an interesting premise, but overall there was nothing to write home about. I tried several times to watch some of his earlier movies, but I just can't stand the guy. |
