Then he was like "No, wait, I wanna play for the US". The he said "It's probably best if I don't play at all, so I don't offend anyone". What A-Rod should've done from the beginning was stop listening to the Dominican idiots who think you are a cultural sellout if you don't play for them. He was born in America, why the hell would he play for DR? He was in a bad spot because he was going to get bashed for whatever he did, so he should've just made his choice and stuck with it. Instead, he made everything worse because he didn't want to upset anyone. He is Dominican and maybe something else, but was born in the United States. He should've just picked a country from Day 1 and stuck by it.
