Title: Who's the tallest? Post by: JVides on February 22, 2006, 06:38:56 pm Similar to who's smartest, I want to know who's tallest. Also, if you're 6'2" or over, I want to know: does it bug you when you're not the tallest person in a room?
I'm 6'3 & 3/4 (6'4" with the round-up) and it bugs me when I'm not the tallest person in the room because, in Miami at least, it's kinda rare to be in a room with tall people. I don't particularly like it when I talk with someone right at the same height as me - I'm used to looking either up or down, not straight ahead.

When I was interviewing for a job 6 years ago, I developed a little mental edge versus my interviewers. I convinced myself that no matter what they asked me, and no matter how stupid they made me feel, when it came down to it I could just stand up and kick their asses. This approach worked well until the 3rd interview came up and a 6'10 dude walked through the door. I was a little stunned at first. But after talking with him for a few minutes and hearing how soft spoken he was, I decided I could probably kick his ass too. Even if someone is shorter than me, but over 6 feet, it seems that I'm looking up at them because I'm not looking down as far as I usually do. Its a strange sensation.
