Title: You're the GM - Dallas Cowboys Post by: jtex316 on March 03, 2006, 01:34:43 pm Jerry Jones just died and you're now the team's Owner / GM / Trainer / Media Relations / etc....and Bill Parcells is your head coach.Â
Your team has a storied history of BOTH winning and losing, but you'd rather be winning. You have a young defense that could become great in a few years, maybe next year. Your offense is questionable, but Drew Bledsoe seems revitalized and is now playing well enough to be able to make the offense work. Your special teams are atrociuos. But, with a little fine tuning, you can take this team into the post-season in an NFC that a 9-7 record can get you in. Title: Re: You're the GM - Dallas Cowboys Post by: Denver_Bronco on March 03, 2006, 02:09:25 pm Either Keyshawn or Terry Glenn are going to have to go. They have Barber/Jones, Witten. I think they need to sure up the o-line, if not in free agency, in the draft. Bledsoe is a tackling dummy so they need to figure out a way to get a younger QB ready, possibly for the 2007 season. So they will probably draft a middle round QB to see if they can find a gem.
Title: Re: You're the GM - Dallas Cowboys Post by: YoFuggedaboutit on March 03, 2006, 02:42:24 pm Sign Bill Parcells to a multi-year contract. Then trade Terry Glenn and Keyshawn Johnson for compensatory picks.
