I would have loved to have seen what that locker room looked like.

As is he definitely isn't a Hall of Famer, just that he could've been had he stayed clean. I believe his lifetime ERA is still pretty low despite all of his problems. I agree that he does not have the stats for Cooperstown, but let's assume that he stayed clean all those years and pitched like he did from '84 to '88. He'd then be in Cooperstown for sure.
