Title: heat - jazz Post by: Fau Teixeira on March 15, 2006, 11:40:59 am anyone see this game last night ?
holy crap ! was this ever a beating .. the heat were up 27 points in the 1st quarter and had something like 5 lob-dunks check out the sportscenter highlights .. they asked any jazz fans to look away and pretend they were showing figure-skating highlights. Worst year of his career.Title: Re: heat - jazz Post by: gocowboys31 on March 15, 2006, 12:29:16 pm Who cares about the Miami CheaT beating the happiless jazz. We all know your season is going to be determined on whether you beat the pistons, which you wont. So continue to build up your confidence over these slouches. The pistons loom and they wont be denied. Defense wins and the heat play noone of it.
Title: Re: heat - jazz Post by: Sunstroke on March 15, 2006, 03:10:21 pm Great game to watch on TV...lots of instant slo-mo replays of Heat players flying above the rim. Jazz are pretenders for sure, but it was enjoyable watching Miami crush them anyway. Who cares about the Miami CheaT beating the happiless jazz. We all know your season is going to be determined on whether you beat the pistons, which you wont. So continue to build up your confidence over these slouches. The pistons loom and they wont be denied. Defense wins and the heat play noone of it. Here's a thought...how about NOT feeling obligated to jump in and say something negative every time someone says something positive. If you can do that, people might stop thinking of you as an obnoxious ass. Wow - just wow.I never knew it was possible for so much negativity to reside in one human being. ::) Title: Re: heat - jazz Post by: bsmooth on March 15, 2006, 04:34:44 pm Wow - just wow. I never knew it was possible for so much negativity to reside in one human being. ::) Well you guys do spend an awful lot of time pumping up a team that has a completely crap record against the top teams in the league. Sure they can destroy a team 3 games under .500 and sitting 10th in the Western Conference, but ultimately they have to beat Detroit on the road, and then get through either the Mavs or the Spurs, and possibly a reenergized Suns with Amare back in time for the playoffs. You did predict a blowout of the Pistons the last time they met, and it was a 2 point victory only after Wade put up 40 at home, which he won't do 4 times against the Pistons. I am not saying don't enjoy your team's victories, but you don't have to constantly put them up here. I refuse to believe in that heat for the reason's i've stated earlier. Defense. The pistons & the spurs are the best 2 defensive teams in the league and that's why they'll meet in the finals again. Heat fans are to blind to see their team stinks defensively. Why wasnt a thread started when jason richardson came down here last friday night and destroyed the heat on his way to 44 pts? We all know the cavs, wizards are pretenders. Puff out your chest when you've dethroned the pistons, that's the measuring stick not the jazz. Bit im sure meet picking the pistons/ spurs remacth will be labled as banwagoning. I love when stubborn homer fans play that card. i'm not buying WADE as the next M.J., or this heat team. For those who dont like it, you know where you can go!!!!!!! Title: Re: heat - jazz Post by: Fau Teixeira on March 16, 2006, 10:16:29 am ok i few notes on the replies
1 - i didn't post this implying that the heat are the next dynasty because they blew out the jazz .. i posted because it was a crazy game to watch and it seemed like they could make a highlight reel out of the entire first quarter .. that was all .. you guys that need to come on and yap about the pi-stones and whoever else .. that's fine and all but they're irrelevant to the heat-jazz game 2 - on the topic of the heat vs. pistons .. there were many factors that contributed to the heat's record vs. other top seeds. mainly injuries and a the building of a team in the early season. Against the pistons however we are 1-1 and the first loss was right after shaq got back form his injury. We'll see next wednesday where each team is more solidly. 3 - i predicted a heat blowout last time .. not brian .. hah Title: Re: heat - jazz Post by: Denver_Bronco on March 16, 2006, 10:25:37 am And then, BOOM ! Lay that goose-egg against Orlando !
Title: Re: heat - jazz Post by: Thundergod on March 16, 2006, 01:56:28 pm FAU, people don't seem to understand most posts, I, like some others, had a feeling this was just a HEAT - JAZZ post.  But alas the bandwagon jumpers feel the need they have to put in their 2 cents about Detroit this and Detroit that, just to start sh*t at any cost. Funny how a team w/ a sh*tty defense last year took the mighty Piss-tons to 7 games, AND still won a game this year (regardless if it was by 2 or not) THEY WON, deal with it.Â
Do I, as a Heat fan, think they'll take it all this year? No, but ya know, you've never met anyone like me either. I've never pumped this team up as being great. And you can thank Shaq, ESPN and every sports media outlet for the Heat being in your face 24 / 7. It happens, welcome to life. |
