Title: Movie Review: The Hills Have Eyes (1977) Post by: GUATARICCAN on March 16, 2006, 04:59:23 pm Premise: A white bread family on their way to California break down in the New Mexico desert, miles from anywhere. What they don't know is that living in the hills is a clan of wild cannibals that are looking to kill and eat every last family member.
Rating: Very good. I was expecting Wes to make a "Last house on the Left" (which I hated) rehash but just set in the desert. He truly is a great horror film maker. Highlights: For me it was seeing Michael Berryman when he was younger. He was such a cool guy when I met him at Screamfest that I became an instant fan. He was pretty funny at some parts even though it was probably supposed to be a serious scene. In case you guys don't know Mr. Berryman, here's a photo of Mike and Stroke. Stroke is the one with hair! ;) (http://www.thedolphinsmakemecry.com/images/guat/screamfest4.jpg) Title: Re: Movie Review: The Hills Have Eyes (1977) Post by: Dave Gray on March 16, 2006, 05:20:46 pm That is one ugly dude.
Berryman has seen better days, too. Title: Re: Movie Review: The Hills Have Eyes (1977) Post by: Frimp on March 16, 2006, 05:23:41 pm I hope no one remakes Last House on the Left.

I swear, I missed your small font zinger, and was about to post that there were actually two ugly dudes...and then I saw your comment. Bitch... That might be the single ugliest picture of me that I've ever seen. I don't know whether I was making a face, or whether I was really that baked...or if I was passing some bad gas at the moment that made me do that face, but I definitely won't be sending that particular photo to any women. :-\ As far as the actual movie review...I am all over this one as soon as it hits pay per view. My kind of movie for sure! Title: Re: Movie Review: The Hills Have Eyes (1977) Post by: GUATARICCAN on March 17, 2006, 01:22:58 am That might be the single ugliest picture of me that I've ever seen. Maybe Mike just gave you the heebie jeebies! Title: Re: Movie Review: The Hills Have Eyes (1977) Post by: Buddhagirl on March 17, 2006, 06:56:01 am Yeah. I want to see this.
