Title: Renaming threads. Post by: Dave Gray on March 17, 2006, 03:17:13 pm What's with the renaming of all the threads. I have seen this about 2 or 3 times today alone! ??? I have noticed a lot of threads that are improperly named. Threads that are titled something that doesn't pertain to the topic are being revisited more often, because people forget what they're about. Also, we're trying to create an enviorment that's easy to navigate. So, I've decided to (with the help of my mods) start renaming threads that are misleading. For example: "I almost busted a nut today" = "New Dolphins HD Scoreboard" "I can't stand crap like this" = "Voice of Chef leaves South Park" There have been some other bad ones: "Nooooooooooo." I won't change anything clever -- for example "Randy Moss to grow world's largest afro" I also have been trying to be more descriptive about names. "Seau" became "Seau gets cut." ...just trying to make it a better place by ruling with an iron fist. Wait...I am one! Ooops. Â We rule! :) Title: Re: Renaming threads. Post by: fyo on March 17, 2006, 08:42:25 pm FWIW, I think it's a great initiative. I've been perusing some help forums today and the number of "I need help", "how do I make this work", "please help!!!!" threads is astonashing.
