Title: Sweet 16 / College Hoops March 23 Post by: jtex316 on March 24, 2006, 12:52:48 am I'm not a fan of College Basketball. The only time i'll ever even really care is if it's the national title game or the final four, and if I feel like it, and if Star Trek isn't on.
Tonight for some reason I decide to leave it on the "Sweet 16" games (from Atlanta & Oakland). What an insane 3 games I saw!! I saw: 1. Duke (the best team in the whole wide world) get shell-shocked and sent home packing by LSU, 2. Texas hit a buzzer-beating 3 to beat WVU, after WVU hit a 3 of their own, and 3. Gonzaga blow an enourmous lead to allow UCLA to score the last 11 points, win the game, and make Ian Engle in the booth scream like a little girl almost. I know every night can't be this good, so I probably got lucky to catch it. I'll probably have it on tomorrow, too, because who knows - someone could get their eye poked out again! :) Title: Re: Sweet 16 / College Hoops March 23 Post by: JMoney13 on March 24, 2006, 01:17:53 am I'll bet tomorrow that UConn, Wichita St., BC, and Florida win.

Way to go out on a limb.... ::) Washington over UCONN tonight. Title: Re: Sweet 16 / College Hoops March 23 Post by: mcduff81 on March 24, 2006, 09:38:23 am I agree Bronco.
Washington upsets UConn tonight. NCAA tournament..best sporting event by far. Gon-gag-a..Why is Ravio(a 90 % foul shooter) not handling the ball late? Texas..why is this team not better? Going for the 3 sport sweep(baseball, football, basketball) Memphis-raise your hand if you didn't think they were worthy of a #1 seed?? LSU-my God are they athletic.. Them vs. Texas might be the most athletic game of the tournament. That is gonna be fun. F Duke.. 2 man team. They are going to fall pretty hard next year. I am not a believer in their role players(McRoberts, Nelson, etc) |
