Genre: Fast food Specialty: grilled chicken and other island favorites Rating: Horrible Comments: I had black-listed Pollo a while ago, because they had very little variety and were overpriced for the amount of food. Then, they underwent some changes, added items to the menu, and I gave them a shot again. As soon as I consider making Pollo a regular in the lunchtime rotation, they go and put themselves right back on the black list. Today, I ordered a Tropichop combo with Plantains. $5.39 - reasonable price. The Tropichop is delivered to me with 1 small scoop of rice and half of a half of a chicken breast chopped up. Literally, not even enough food to fully cover the bottom of the bowl it was served in. I will never go to Pollo again. I control the amount of chicken I get. I've taken to calling Pollo Tropical "rice tropical and Chicken Kitchen "rice kicthen" because they rob you so badly on the chicken and give you nothing but rice.

The only time you'll ever see me drinking that stuff is the morning after a long night of drinking.
