Title: Just Got Back From Canes Fest! Post by: LG from the Lou on April 15, 2006, 07:52:21 pm Went this morning and it was cool.
RBs Derron Thomas - He had a great 35 yard run. Although he made be a 3rd down back, the run started up the middle and he attacked the hole before he bounced it outside. Tyrone Moss did not play as he is still rehabbing. Andrew Johnson - Looked bigger than his listed weight of 200. Charlie Jones was the same as last year, I don't like him. WRs Lance Leggett - He looked lost at times, and botched a nice TD catch by running out of bounds. Ryan Moore - Caught a 9 out once and I thought "the mediocrity continues" Nothing much else to see, Look for Miami to lose in Atlanta this year to Georgia Tech - You heard it here first! I do always suspect any grammar police as being you though. ;)

Glad to finally meet you. Title: Re: Just Got Back From Canes Fest! Post by: Brian Fein on April 16, 2006, 10:13:54 am Thanks for the update. I'm looking forward to the Canes being a better team this season, but there's so many new guys at key positions. Its good to read updates like this.
And, by the way - Jackets going down! ;) Title: Re: Just Got Back From Canes Fest! Post by: gocowboys31 on April 18, 2006, 05:48:31 pm The coones are in major trouble this year. The tackles in the scrimmage were being manhandled and abused. 3 YARDS net rushing in the scrimmage. 4 scholarship WR'S. It got so bad punter Brian Monroe was used at the position. Also the WR's they've recruited have yet to qualify. 9-3, possibly 8-4, no BCS bowl, and a head coach in larry choker who wil be served his walking papers after the season.

FSU's got some fierce D-Linemen strapped and ready to roll come Labor Day night!!! I can easily see another 9-10 sack game. Title: Re: Just Got Back From Canes Fest! Just think they had winston on the o-line, and still got demolished. The coones have no one on that line that's even comparable with winston. I agree kyle wright's is going to feel the wrath of the F$U pass rushers on labor day night. Luckily for wright, JACKSON MEMORIAL hospital isnt to far from the OB. Title: Re: Just Got Back From Canes Fest! Post by: Househead on April 19, 2006, 04:41:58 pm I like how fans of the number 2 and 3 college football teams in Florida talk sh*t about the U. It must be related to their inferiority complex.
Anyway, 2 Things: (i) They just started training again. The season is many months away. You cannot judge anything you see now, at a 2 hour training session, as being indicative of the season. If you think that, you guys are more retarded than I thought. ::) You know that your teams are just as crappy at the moment. (ii) Win as many championships as the U, then you can talk. The U owns both of you. Its that plain and simple. Title: Re: Just Got Back From Canes Fest! Fact is, your line gave up nine sacks last year and will easily give up that many come Labor Day night. To top it off, you've been in the ACC for two seasons now and haven't even come close to sniffing the championship. Like GoCowboys stated a while ago, this aint the Big East. No more creampuffs like Temple and Rutgers to beat around. This is a real football conference with legitimate teams from top to bottom (except maybe Duke). Win an ACC title, then we'll talk. |
