I have to go with the Turkey sandwich. I make mine with lettuce and Guilden's spicy mustard.

A close second behind that is the roast beef sandwich prepared the exact same way.

What's yours?

Hard salami,Pepperjack cheese,with yellow mustard,on Rye Bread.

From these choices, turkey is the way to go.  It ages well, and it's good for all occasions.

I forgot about the pbj... that is a classic. I think I might make one for myself now.

Roast beef with a little mayo and mustard, some lettuce and tomato, some provolone or muenster cheese, served on a toasted Chicago hard roll.  Damn, now I'm hungry...

Roast beef is where it's at. In East Boca, we call it the Jen Frank Special due to one of the neighborhood hoes.

I like the poor mans philly cheese steak. Steak ums, onions and cheese all on a publix sub roll.

Mozzarella Cheese, tomatoes, and roasted red peppers on a kaiser roll. 

Well whenever I get bored and hungry I go to my fridge.
Get some kinda bread and add whatever looks good.
Usually when I just want a sandwich, ham works.

My favorite sandwich to make at home is boar's head (publix brand, for you non-locals) Black forest ham and baby swiss stacked thick on potato bread. Light mayo, two good slices of tomato and some sliced red onion. A sprinkle of salt and 3 sprinkles of pepper...mmm, mmm, das ist fukkin' geschmeckt! (translation: mmm, mmm, that is fukkin' tasty!)

A close second (I eat twice as many sandwiches as most people, so I can do two up here) would be leftover meat loaf, with cheddar melted over it, a little chalula for kick, heaped on a dinner roll.

Yeah, like JVides said...now I'm getting hungry!   ;D

Sorry lads, it's gotta be the BLT. Make it a 2 Level sandwich by toasting the middle slice.

Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, Coleslaw, Parmesan Cheese, and if you have some Dill mix it in, gives the flavour a kick!


Although im REALLY hungry now!

Meatball sub with melted provolone

     Tuna on Italian Bread with some mayonaise, lettuce, tomato, and some onions.

We have Boars head up here as well. Its not Publix own brand.

What I like to call my peanut butter cup sandwich- Peanut Butter and Nutella (a chocolate hazelnut spread) on white bread with a tall glass of milk.

I don't think there is a Publix in your area.  They're strictly in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and Alabama if I'm not mistaken.  They tend to sell higher quality products than the average grocery store for comparable prices.  Plus they perform a lot of services for free that other grocery stores would charge for, particularly dealing with produce and meat. 


MMMMMM, that's more like dessert.

Without a doubt my fav of all-time.

I swear, I have never heard of this magic bread spread, and chocolate and hazelnut are way up at the top of my munchies list.  I now have a new mission in life...to seek the sacred Nutella!

You can find it in most grocery stores next to the peanut butter. 

I know what  Publix is. Sunstroke said that Boars Head was Publix brand of lunch meat. I was commenting that it is not, because we have Boars Head up here.

I was going to make a remark about trying to slow down when you read so you can comprehend my post, but that would be mean. So I won't.

^^^ What I meant that it was the brand that Publix deli's carry down here, not so much that it was a Publix-only brand. Sorry for the fuzziness there.  ;)

Boar's Head meats completely rock. Their black forest ham is better than what I get at the local german deli. Their cajun chicken is so fresh and tasty that it clucks at you while you make your sandwich. Their thin cut basted london broil, if chewed slowly, can cause a man to see God. I am a carnivore of the first order and I appreciate good meat. That'd be Boar's Head.

I didn't say you didn't know what Publix is, only that there's not one in your area.  Boars Head and Publix deli meats are obviously two different types, but some grocery stores are higher quality than others.  Publix and Harris Teeter are higher quality than Bi-Lo and Winn Dixie for example. 

nutella is good.  Next time you're in Publix, 'Stroke, look in the PBJ aisle on the top shelf.  Its usually there.

And do yourself a favor and pick up a quarter-pound of Boar's Head Buffalo Basted Chicken breast.  OOOH!

I actually had that in my fridge last week...goes excellent with provolone.  ;D

If it is in my local Publix, then I shall taste nirvana...er...Nutella before the night is over!
