i know the dolphins have already strengthened their secondary during this free agency period, but why havent they offered a contract to Lance Shulters ?

i think the guy had a solid year... and i seem to remember that he made a few game-saving plays last season.

he's a veteran who's proven he can still play at a high level and he has experience playing Saban's defense.

if anyone knows what the deal is, spill the beans.

I'm not sure why they didn't re-sign him, but I think he's demanding too much money.  If I'm mistaken, let me know.

I seem to remember reading that he (and his agent) weren't even considering the Dolphins as potential suiters anymore. 

Interesting.  I don't know what his thinking is, but I do know this.  If it wasn't for him, we would've lost to Carolina.

I think he did too.  He was our most constant DB last year. It was surprising to see us let him go.

I don't think he has signed anywhere. Saying he was our best DB last year is not saying much. The guy is a liability if he has to play a receiver deep. He made plays early in the season, but if you watch the games closely when we got beat deep Schulters was the man a lot of the time.

Lance is still unsigned...and I really wouldn't mind seeing him come back to Miami. I don't think he is any better than a nickel back, but you always need depth at DB, and Schulters isn't a total liability.
