Lets be serious. Some of these knit-picking rules are a joke. Like LeBron getting those jerseys a couple years ago and having to return them.

So technically speaking, when I was at FSU, and I gave one of the football players $5 so he could go get himself some KFC, that constitutes a violation of NCAA rules. The reason the players arent allowed to get any money is because it would cut into the money that every single other person involved with college football gets.

According to your theory, no NCAA athlete would be allowed to go on a date, receive a birthday present, Christmas, etc. Now does that even seem the least bit realistic? Like I said the NCAA is strict, but there are also a lot of misconceptions floating around.
