Title: Williams taking stash to Denver ?

According to Adam Schefter anyway

Packers | Team fielding calls and offers for J. Walker
Mon, 24 Apr 2006 17:31:16 -0700

Adam Schefter, of the NFL Network, reports the Green Bay Packers have begun fielding telephone calls, and offers, in terms of trying to decide whether it is worth it to trade disgruntled WR Javon Walker. The Packers made it clear they only will trade Walker for the right price, a high price. Teams at the top of the list include the Denver Broncos and Philadelphia Eagles, but there are at least three other confirmed teams that weighed in Monday, April 24. There is no shortage of suitors for Walker, meaning that it is looking more and more as if Green Bay will trade Walker.

Dolphins | Williams' decision could come Tuesday; he also could be traded
Mon, 24 Apr 2006 17:36:28 -0700

Adam Schefter, of the NFL Network, reports Miami Dolphins RB Ricky Williams could find out his football fate for the 2006 season as early as Tuesday, April 25. Should the league reinstate Williams, then the Dolphins could begin fielding offers for their running back and try to trade him before the NFL Draft. There would be interest in Williams and the Denver Broncos could head up that list. The Broncos already were involved in talks with the Dolphins this winter, when word of Williams' potential suspension leaked out.

How would you feel if we drafted your hero ?

Cutler sliding?
As strange is it seems, Vanderbilt QB Jay Cutler could fall to No. 16 or No. 17 if he's bypassed by Arizona and Detroit (ninth and 10th picks), and that appears to be the likely scenario at this stage, according to ESPN.com's John Clayton.
The Lions, who may trade out of the pick, are leaning toward drafting defense. Texas safety Michael Huff is a candidate, although the Lions might feel better about taking him a little lower. The Cardinals appear to be targeting Florida State linebacker Ernie Sims.

If Cutler is still on the board at No. 15, he will be a strong consideration for Denver, according to Clayton.

Phil Simms said in a recent article that Cutler was better than Young and Leinart in his opinion.
