I don't like the Heat, I just think Nets fans get carried away. No one in their division finished above .500 and that included the worst team of all-time, the 2005-2006 New York Knicks.

They aren't on the same level as the Pistons & Heat in the East and not the Spurs or Mavs or even Suns in the West. They can go 6 with Miami and 5 against Detroit but that's it.

This heat/nets series is going 7 games. I have to give the slight edge to miami because of the homecourt advantage. Miami's perimeter defense is horrible, conversely New jersey's strength is on the perimeter with carter, kidd, and jefferson, and even krisitc is averaging around 20ppg in the postseason. Unlike last season when eddie jones made life miserable for vince carter, miami has no one who can macth carter's quickness nor his athleticism. He averaged 38 ppg in the regular season against miami. Trust me heat fans arent overlooking new jersey, they pose numerous macthup problems for the heat. This one is going all 7 rounds. Heat in 7 though.

Yep total domination. Hopefully jefferson is ok, because they have no answer for him.

Total domination right back at 'em.  This could be a fun series.

Yeah but the next two are in Jersey.  Miami ABSOLUTELY has to take at least one of those games or their in deep doo-doo.

Exactly. I'm expecting a spirited and more energetic effort from the Nets friday night, but i do expect Miami to get a game in new jersey. The meadowlands isnt one of the more intimidating arena's to play in. It will be 2-2 coming back to miami.

Yeah, what's your next prepostrous prediction? The heat will sweep the pistons is next right? The heat will be fortunate to get past the nets in 7, and their is a distinct possibility you lose to the Nets.

Someone tell Jersey there are 4 quarters in a basketball game.

Someone tell Jersey there are 4 quarters in a basketball game.

The Nets....... 8 turnovers in the first three quarters, seven in the fourth.  The Heat spent more time on the free throw line in the 4th than setting up plays.   Tied at the end of 3, Heat pulls away in the 4th.  That's the difference between contenders and pretenders.

Jersey can kiss that home court advantage goodbye.

The series is far from over. When the NETS win on mothers day we'll be back to square one. Jacque Vaughn is an idiot, committing senseless fouls which allowed miami to get into the penalty early in the 4th. Nenad Kristic needs to remove his panties and grow a pair. 4-14 is unacceptable especially without robinson. We will be 2-2 going back to miami on tuesday.

Hey Deaver.  Lemme get a pair of pliers and a hacksaw to remove your foot from your mouth.

Let me remind you i picked the heat to win the series. I expected a little more resistance from the NETS, but once again that choking dog Vince Carter displays his true colors. Miami beating new jersey is nothing, its expected. Let's see waht they do against the pistons, that's the measuring stick, and that's the series the heat's season will be judged on. The pistons own miami, and nothing will change when they meet.

What do you expect???  Vince Carter is great in the regular season, then becomes a total flame out in the playoffs.  That doesn't surprise me one bit.

As for facing the Pistons, I think the Heat is gonna pull this one off.  They're gonna finish Jersey off in game 5, back at the AAA, while Cleveland puts up a big fight against Detroit.

Aren't the champs the measuring stick?  Last I heard San Antonio was the team to beat in the NBA.

Looks like they're gonna be dispatched by their in-state rivals to the northeast.
