Title: The Suns just won't set!
Post by: Sunstroke on May 05, 2006, 11:20:32 am

Hopefully someone else besides me stayed up to watch the Suns-Lakers game 6 last night...even though it didn't end until 1:45 AM EDT.

What an amazing game. Kobe is shooting out of his mind, and ends up with 50, but it isn't enough to withstand Tim Thomas and Boris Diaw in an overtime thriller. Phoenix: 126, LA: 118

Game 7 on Saturday in Phoenix... GO YOU SUNS!

And...to stack goodness on top of goodness, my Padres tossed a 2-hit shutout at the Dodgers. Is there really anything better than beating two los angeles teams in one night? I just don't think so!

Talk about a comeback of the ages.  When you're down 3-1 and have a chance to come back and win it all.....

Lakers = Chokers

This is the best possible scenario for me.  I hate Kobe like poison, so for them to choke away a 3-1 lead is awesome.

No one will ever remember or talk about his "clutch" shot(s) in Game 4... just the fact that LAL went on to lose that series after a commanding 3-1 lead.  Priceless.

And it's funny.  SI had an article about the Clippers and the Lakers facing each other in the second round.  Because they share the same area, it would be intriguing, especially with Billy Crystal and Jack Nicholson watching.  But that might not matter.
