Mario 3 was fun at the time it came out, but I have a hard time replaying platformers nows a days cause they just don't do it for me anymore. I liked Halo better cause it brought you into the story and had an intensity that I never got from Mario. But overall the story and gameplay make Halo the ultimate game out of these two for me. But, if Goldeneye would have made it........ ::)

F***** excellent for its time, but it was no Halo... Halo caused (without maybe going over the top a bit) a major change in the Gaming Industry. It made Sony realise that there was now a Major Competitor in the Console Market after so many failed attempts by other leading manufacturers. Halo gave the Xbox an Identity, after lets face it, the first 25 Titles Released on the original Xbox Sucked Balls. Aside from that Halo was just an excellent game.
